While this may have been a joke, I see no trouble with the car pulling a light trailer. If a motorcycle can pull a little trailer, certainly a Ferrari could. It may not fit in with the elites idea of proper or correct, but its certainly practical. As to attaching to the frame, there are ways to do it without damaging anything, and as to the safety, again, its all in the weight, how its distributed, and how you drive. Heck, think of the extra trips and driving you could do having that lil ol ball back there.

I have a magazine around here somewhere that shows a Urraco hauling a travel trailer.

You are either out of your mind or just like anoying poeple. You obviosly know that welding to the sub frame is a stupid idea....so why do you continue with this?

If its your grand niece and not a hot stripper that's involved....tell her to go get her own mattress. Give me a break.

Help...I'm at Home Depot and can't balance more than 4 pieces of drywall on the roof! Can I weld a ladder rack on this thing?

Colin, why don't you just slap the matress up on the roof, throw on the barbie, and run your rope over and under the car and tie 'er down?

Just use 8 self tapping sheet metal screws and two Simpson TS18 twist straps onto the exhaust tips. The extra length of the extension on the exhaust will help get more leverage on the trailer.

Just reading this thread brought a smile in the morning! I have had to install a trailer hitch and a bike rack on a TR in the past. Quite a sight seeing a landscape trailer behind a TR.
