Points do not go over to New York, so dont sweat that - I have had plenty of run-ins with the boys - NYPD Highway Patrol all come to my shop so I am pretty much good with them - and those Jersey troopers even let me go once or twice

You need to find a local lawyer there who is in with the clique there. I would suggest doing a search for a lawyer in that township and making some calls.

Sometimes they pull along side you starting with the last car in the group as they come along side they instruct you to pull over and then the same with each car till they get to the lead car. I remember two other times where they employed a road block and stopped the whole group. Yes I have photos of the two incidents as well.

and i hate to say this - but i know quite a few hwy cops that could care less if there was an off duty mos in the car - there are some bad apples in there that just dont care - their thinking is that "he should know better being a cop!"

Clearly, you don't know what you're talking about. Nip's right, no one's crying. When you drive cars like ours (when you drive at all, in fact) you're bound to get a ticket or two. But that doesn't mean you have to accept it when it isn't fair (fact is, I wasn't going 105 (i was one of the cars)). Read the rest of the postings on this thread -- most people on here respond with some sympathy and class, because they understand it could happen to them, too. They don't make snide remarks like you.

Wrong. I am accused of going 105 in a 65. Im not mad. Its a big inconvience but hey, thats part of life.

Fact is, I wasnt going 105 and neither were any of the other cars involved.

Trooper has a job to do and now we have our work to do. Dont see any other posts about anyone being mad.

    Stop being an instigator.

Nip--Post my smile! That was funny. Jess had NO IDEA what had just occured so i said to myself, "Screw it! ((HUGE SMILE FOR CAMERA))"

Neither did I! I was too busy looking at you pose for the pic, practically sticking your neck out the car while the cop was catching up.

So let me get this all straight. How many people ended up getting tickets?
Did you all get the same speed? How many cops were there?

I see a billboard on the NJTP every day, saying something about helping with speeding offences. I'll check it out tomorrow, and post the #. They should be able to answer your questions.

You could also get a hold of Lupe(Perth Amboy Cop) and see if he can help.

Sorry to hear about it all. I was real close to driving up to meet you guys.

Everyone on ferrari chat should pitch in a couple of bucks so we can buy a politician. Im thinking like 100 bucks each person for each region. Then we could speed all we want. Im thinking a senator or gov of each state. They would issue us fchat cards that we can use like PBA cards.

Firstly, I read ALL the posts. SOMEONE got that ticket that states "105 in 65mph", and they were *****ing (not crying, per se). Even if you were going 85mph in a 65 zone, you broke the law. Exactly how fast do you think YOU were going when you were stopped ? If it was more than 65mph; case closed. When I get caught doing something wrong, I, unlike you little kids, accept it and don't whine. You play, you pay ! Welcome to the real world kids.
"When you drive cars like ours..." --- give me a break; a 308 ?? Not exactly the epitome of high performance !

One slick cop pulled us all over one by one...then his buddies come. 4 cars pulled over, and 4 cop cars for the outdoor cocktail party. Yep, same ticket, same speed...that's why it's BS- there's no way he used laser gun since he was way off...and it all just didn't make sense.

Best of all- there was an SUV with a bunch of HOT WOMEN hollering out at us as we were getting written up....hahaa

real smooth, smooth. I dont think name calling is very productive. Most of us are not children. Infact some of the people on here have children. I am glad you read all the posts, it clearly makes all your posts more credible.

I dont think anyone ever stated they were not speeding or that they had proteins leaking out of their eyes. I think we can all agree that fighting when you have been wrongly accused of a crime is fair and acceptable.

The original post was only asking for car 54. If you know its location, please let us know. If not, then you clearly are posting irrelevant information. I personally do not know where car 54 is.

Thanks for the insight, Smooth. Fortunately, I started this thread and I dont remember asking for any opinions. You're welcome to share them, just start your own thread. Dont hang off my coat tails.

I plan on going out this Sunday. Since you frequent the Tri State board, why dont you free up your schedule and join me.

    What's your ride?
