Crossed a couple off my "unseen" list this weekend: (2) F430s and an F50- both at Foreign Cars Italia. *drool* Thoroughly enjoyed getting a nice up-close look at their Aston Martins too, as well as the Maseratis and a couple gorgeous 911s.
Thought I recognized those blonde locks, "rain" damn we had hail by my house the size of golf balls. When I left home to head south, from exit 33 to exit 28 there was a 15 degree difference in temp. The hail came down like the ink cartridges that Staples commercial, amazing. Wade
Saw Jeff Gordon and his hot girlfriend in his new 430 spider today around 4pm at a stop light by USLEC, which is where my friend works.
I was taking a freind home down Tyvola tonight. Heard a very distinctive note several hundred feet ahead, I knew it had to be a 430 or 360. I didn't have a lot to go on as my windows where up. Was seriosuly looking for the car when the light turned green, spotted it, and followed it. He revv-ed it for us, I realy enjoyed hearing that motor. I didn't rev back though, wasn't sure if a Porsche Four is of much interest next to that of the Ferrari sound.
This evening I saw a nero 360 Spider at North Hills around 6:30. Also this evening, I saw a 996 TT Cabriolet, 964 RS America, 964 Turbo, Jaguar XKE, and I feel like I am missing something else, but who knows.
Yesterday at the picnic: Red 550, Yellow 360, Red 328, Red Mondial, pics in the picnic thread. Yesterday evening, saw a red F355 Spider with painted wheels (there is one with chrome wheels around too) at North Hills. I drove the 996TT pictured below. That's the car that Woody (at the picnic) was telling us is likely for sale in the coming days. It was on track at VIR, and can be seen in some of the concours pictures from Berry Hill.
Not a Ferrari but VERY nice: a beautiful black Porsche Cayman S, in Sanford. First one I've seen and well worth the wait.
Red 355 on display inside Triangle Town center. Apparently had some interior work done by a local business and there is an auto aftermarket expo in the mall this weekend. I did not expect to see that when i went to Sears this morning.
Black or dark blue 360 Modena on I-40 Friday around 4:30 pm. I'm in the Outer Banks, I highly doubt I will see anything out here, but you never know.
I always keep seeing this little Red Lotus Elise almost everyday on Rte 61 near where I work at. They usually stop in and get gas next door at the BP station. Btw I just noticed an old Red exotic car about 10 min ago (maybe a 1930's model car) heading towards Durham NC. It looked like an open cockpit and was going a little bit slower than most of the other cars on the interstate. I wish I had a better look at it to see what car it actually was.
I saw a Blue Deloreon on Graham Road in Burlington today around 4pm. I didn't know they had a Blue one in existence. Maybe it was painted or something but wierd to see on the streets. Does anyone know who owns it ??
Dark orange and black Gallardo SE in Starmount, Gboro. BEAUTIFUL. It turned left as I went straight and I could still hear it screaming. AWESOME. It was funny because we found it trailing a 350Z (I was riding in the car). I saw a 350Z roadster and because I never get to hear my car from the exterior I wanted to see what it sounded like! While waiting at a stoplight the Gallardo comes up out of the left corner of my eye and I just COMPLETELY forgot about the Zed!
Yellow Lamborghini Murcielago at the Tuesday-night car show at Kenton Place (Huntersville, NC) near Birkdale.
That Gallardo SE should be the same as the one that was in Columbia. I'm not sure about the yellow Murci. Any idea if it was from that area?
