I actually race these cars. I do not understand why everyone gets a hard-on with tubi. Everyone wants stock OEM unmolested Ferrari but yet accepts Tubi as a superior add-on. I don't get it. They sound O.K. but you guys really need to hear what a 348 sounds like with a open tube race exhaust. The Tubi may be the best balance between louder streetable exhaust but by no means adds any significant performance to your 348. Some people like a slightly louder 348 that's fine but running the stock OEM Ferrari street challenge exhaust or a old style two can without the bottom can sounds pretty darn good. After all the Tubi is a cat back system and they do very little to nothing. The only way to get a significant exhaust improvement is to dump the cats, open up the exhaust and increase intake flow and that is just the beginning of the science involved. The rest is just mystique smoke and mirrors in a cool stainless steel shell. As to Nittos they are just a plain jane street tire. IMO until you go to a DOT race tire they are all about the same. Some street tires like some of the bridgestones get down to a tread wear of 120 or so and are about as sticky as you can get them. Others like the goodyear F1 are near 300 I forget and are pretty long lasting but don't have the grip.
Totally agree FBB. Check this out if you havent already Still running the car the same http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99806
