I use meguiars #26 paste wax it is the only wax that will not eat through my thin paint and looks the best i have tried everything up to $180.00 Zymol. I always go back. It is the hardest to take off by still #1 in my book. IMHO

 

This test gives the nod to Zaino brother's.

But Zaino is not a wax - it's a polish.

 

You know better than most that Zaino rocks over everything else.

 

I've said it a million times, I'll say it again. For the most part, it doesn't matter what system you use. Find something you like (be it the shine, the ease of use, whatever), and use it. Use it often. You will have a nice, shiny car. Only a select few people can really tell the difference between waxes. Most will just notice that your car looks good.

Lately, I've been using a product called Optimum wax. It's very quick on and off. Sprays on like a quick detailer and just wipes off. They also make a polish that I use when I have a chance (maybe once or twice a year).

I've also had great success with the meguiars and mother's products. Color X by meguiars is great for when you don't have a lot of time, but want to remove some swirls in addition to adding wax (OK, technically it is a polymer). Basically a one-step polish/wax product. Great for if you don't have the time to devote to a complete detail.

The important thing is paint prep. Do the proper prep, and follow up with your wax of choice, and you will be happy.
