    I got to say, when the 360s first came out I was not a fan (even though they absolutely rule in every aspect) because every hip hop/rap artist had one and "bling"ed them out and spoiled the mysticism to me. But after seeing this thread, I have full confidence and love for the F360 and ESPECIALLY the CS's.

    Very beautiful cars to everyone, and great photos to you all.

    There is also no break in the stripe on the tailgate around the Ferrari badge.

    You are correct! I guess that proves that it's a decal on top of the clear coat.

    I hate to doubt you but from everything I have read on FChat it's a decal under the clear coat. From what I have heard it even has a part number.

    What? No Vin on this unique CS Carbon!?

    At this point, I'm awaiting proof that it is a sticker... I'm convinced it's painted on...

    Not necessarily - I just had the stripe added to my CS by a dealer and they relacquered the car on the relevant panels. They made same error.

    I was told by another CS owner that needed his nose and hood repainted that had the factory stripe. The body shop found that the stripe was a sticker and they were able to order the sticker kit from Ferrari. It was a challenge to apply and line up perfectly.

    I still like the idea that it is actually paint...so that is what I want to believe...

    There was a thread a long time ago about this. FNA thought it was painted on til a CS owner proved to them it was a sticker with a part number from F SpA. They ordered it after that iirc because he needed it I think for a repaint like one the posts above mentioned.

    Edit: Izza is right, too. They put on a lot of layers of clear coat on top of the stripe to smooth out the hood.
