Just rebuild the suspension on my 308. The brake lines on all four calipers were disconnected and the fluid has drained out of the reservoir. I will be using a Motive Power Bleeder to flush the brake lines. Checking the OM and WSM shows nothing about bleeding the clutch or where the bleeder is located. Reading some of the past threads on other F-cars suggests that this may be opening a can of worms. Should the clutch be bleed/flushed and if so any suggestions as to the best way to bleed the clutch line and where the bleeder is located?? Pictures of the bleeder valve would be helpful. Thanks

The clutch on a 308 is cable operated- no bleeding.

yup...been a lonnngg time since i had a 308, but there was a section in the 308gt4 manual(applies to GTB/S, also) about clutch adjustment that might be worth a look. If memory serves, there are a couple small holes(small screwdriver works here) in the 'works' underneath that line up when you've got the adjustment just right.

Thanks guys. I will check for the correct adjustment as noted in the 308 GT4 WSM. I originally was checking for the proper way to bleed brakes and the current threads were on 348 and 355 (if I remember correctly). They appearently have hydraulic clutchs. I assumed (incorrectly) I should bleed my clutch and forgot about the cable setup. Old age can put one at a disadvange at times.
