Will you club members in Vancouver BC please do a NO RAIN dance for the trip?? It looks like the weather is forcast to be the same as last year, Drizzle!!! : ( Mike
Anthony C., I'm the second owner of my 91 TR and the first owner installed the BORLA in Alberta. When I bought the car in 2000 I had to reinstall the factory exhaust as I couldn't pass Air Care in B.C. Now with collector plates, the BORLA is back on and it sounds Great!! Don.
Tsang85, Yes, that is my TR. I live in Lions Bay and that is probably my car.I certainly will be at Waterfront Park next Sunday and am looking to meeting you. Don.
Getting really excited! For those of you not going, BIG CHOKE! Dave puts on one of the best events of the year! Mike
Must agree with you here Mike. Looks like we'll be making it up this year afterall. Looking forward to it.
Nice Kuzi!! Do I get to check out the Stereo in the CS or are you taking the Spider? Must be nice BTW! See up there my man Mike
I've seen a red TR in West Van, Caulfield area before, seen it 2 times there. I wonder if it's your car...it was neat like driver rarely drives it. 2 pics I took with my cell phone. This was in Jan 2006 by the way. http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/2026/56578al.jpg http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/8817/picture52jm.jpg
Mike, It will depend on the weather. If you are interested you can stop by to check out the HiFi system thursday night if you have time. Email if you can. Kuzi
Cool! I get lost in Seattle but I will PM you now with my cell #. Call me if you get a chance? If not see ya Friday morning Mike
A little warning to those staying @ Wall Centre.... the speed bumps in the hotel garage have grown bigger & sharper! Watch out if you're driving; and warn the valets to watch it if they're driving your car! Bruno Wall and I are discussing my new front spoiler right now....... James
Thanks for the heads up! No valets are typically used, but we will spread the word! Look forward to seeing everyone...all the last minute details are getting wrapped up, and I am off to the copy center now to print up the maps and driving instructions. Watch out, I have a megaphone this year! I'm not kidding! Lost my voice last year with all the anouncements... Power up!
I'm sorry to say I will not be able to make it. Have fun everyone and take lots of pics to post. I'll see everyone at the next event. Drive safe.
Salar, that TR was probably mine. If the weather is good, I usually drive it to Caulfield each Sunday. For everyone, the weather is going to be GREAT this weekend!!! See you there. Don.
Hehe, I even talked with you once, but didn't know you were on this board. Your car is always NICELY WAXED.
Hey guys, I was just wondering the approximate time you guys were going to leave the Sheraton tomorrow morning for lunch at horseshoe bay? I'm thinking of joining you as I did last year. Thanks in advance and have a good drive up to Canada.
Sam (my wife) collected the only ticket of the drive up. Roy's brown lambo apparanetly had some issue that kept it from completing the trip. I have a more complete set of the drive up at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/threefourfive/sets/72157594168914192/ so please do check it out. When I get home on Monday I'll post them on my printroom site in case anyone wants to buy one and help fund the defense of my wife's ticket. ;-) I'll post more from the actual show on Sunday Night or Monday Morning. See ya at the show tomorrow. Dave, GREAT pics as usual! Why is it that Roy seems to have problems on so many trips? Maybe he needs to drive one of the Ferrari's he has in stock on the next trip
Awesome pictures as always Dave. My thanks to all who attended, and the terrific cooperation the entire group! We had a few ups and downs with restaurants, weather, and the cars, but we all kept a positive attitude and I believe everyone still had a grand time! It was terrific to see old friends, and even made a few new ones. Hats off to you all! Dave BTW, we will definitely be selecting some new restaurants for next year, count on it! With the exception of the Riverhouse perhaps...I think we all had a good time there.
DQ, What a keen eye for contrast! The photo of Dave with the hip mounted Meagphone was striking because he's a normally a soft spoken guy.
I lost my voice trying to make announcements last year...so that is the reason for the megaphone this year.
