If Nutt was your last name, would you name your kid Lug?

Acquaitence of mine's last name is Nutt. They're having their first child in a couple of months, and it's a boy (they think). We were talking about names, and I said "how about Lug"? He liked it.

Would that be fair to the kid?

 

I knew a guy who's last name was Long. He named his kid Random. I thought it was a kick ass name: Random Long. Now... Random Nutt? That ROCKS!

 

There was a guy in high school on my golf team named
"Bo Kay". Poor chap.

This guy in a few of my high school classes last name was Wang and first name Sida. Some things were meant to be imo.

Knew a nut by the name of Waco McNutt who was nothing but trouble - I'm absolutely stunned to find he's not mentioned even once in Google, as 15-25 years ago, his name was in the crime and/or court blotter on a weekly, sometimes, daily basis. Maybe he's dead or in prison.

A freind of mine's last name is Bentz. He said if they ever had a daughter, they would name her 'Mercedes'.....

 

But then, on some pit stops, a "wheel nut" is also a "won't".
