Yeah, that was me. Couldn't resist. I was actually surprised I didn't see a single other one in the crowd.

Thanks. I took about 100 pics the whole day and came away with a few "keepers". I like to think I could have done a lot better job had I not been limited to the "civilian" side of the fence. Oh well...

PM me if you want any high res ones

I was contemplating getting a shirt that said "Anyone know where the wooden F50 is?" made.

Once again it was a great event. As usual time flew just talking to a gazillion people and catching up on stories and cars left and right.

Special thanks go to DrT348 for letting me experience his wunderful Challenge car. It rocks! And I love the subtle hints it gives to its racing past.

Congrats to Dave, Carla, Fred and John for winning some nice crystal!

Finally I got a chance at riding a segway. It is trickier than it appears and I'm glad nobody got a pic of me trying not to run into million dollar cars.

Also got a kick out of sitting in the 250 GTO rebody. The seating position alone is intimidating, let alone the shifting and the car and its horsepower. Tracking this thing at speed takes some serious testosterone.

Finally a little birdy told me that Ferraris on Oakstreet 2007 might be an even greater event. Rest assured I'll be back.

Great pics! I stumbled onto the event while planning a little shopping excursion! Thank goodness I was there, lots of great cars. Loved the GTO and 275! The F40 was amazing. Can't wait to join up next year with an entry!

I can't wait to see a 599 in the metal. A car that breaks with the recent trend of IMHO too much oval and round shapes.

    I agree. :)

Seriously, I love lionsfan's detail shots. I'm gonna steal some of his ideas and compositions.

We'll do the harbor some other time. But it has to be in the morning because of the sun angle.

Andreas. It goes without saying....but I have to say it anyway....:) Once again....fantastic shots, with fantastic effort!!!!....You never cease to amaze me!!!....:)

    Dave!!! Congrats, buddy!

Man, you and your baby have done quite well the past 2 weeks! Thinking back at all of that time, and hard work. Taking everything apart. Cleaning it. Detailing it. Every little nook and cranny...Mostly through the Winter...Must have gotten frustrating at times...But now, just a distant memory that must bring a smile to your face ...:)

While I have attended a few Concours D'Elegances at Meadowbrook, this is probably in the Top 5 as far as car gatherings Ive ever attended. It turned out to be a great day to spend in Chicago. Truely a great event that I fully intend on spending time at in future years! Thanks to any and all that participated or helped organize!
