Valid points. I do not know of any current F1 driver who could do well in NASCAR.

I know that Jackie Stewart would have done well. Back in 1975 or 1976, as an ABC announcer, I watched him take the #43 on a Friday around Atlanta and by lap 4 or 5 he would have qualified fifth on the grid for the Atlanta 500. I heard they had to put wooden blocks on the pedals so he could reach them. Stewart has no real equal today.

Yet I think Jeff Gordan and a thin Tony Stewart could do well in F1, espcially since they both started with sprint cars. Now there is a real skill set that would be hard to match by most drivers, but it certainly teaches car control.

I'm not so harsh on NASCAR, after all it was Champ cars that committed suicide by dividing & leaving the door open.

So Bill France being a great businessman & promoter drove a truck through that door & took over. We cant blame him for the dopes committing business suicide or for being a shrewd businessman

I'm not a fan of NASCAR & the yellow flags reallt kill it for me.

    F1 is ok

Sportscars & prototypes have always been my thing

and Lets not forget that the France family also founded the rival to ALMS which is a very good viable & relatively affordable sports car racing series

People forget ESPN stands for ENTERTAINMENT and Sports (Programming ?) Network.......

I think Carl Edwards might do OK in F1, Mark Martin would - 20 years ago.

There are others I'd LIKE to say would, but realistically, No, they wouldn't.

Could Coulthard do OK in nascar ? He might be the only one, really.
