FYI if you didn't recieve a notice I recieved a notice yesterday from Cauley Ferrari about a recall on the Testarossa, 512 and 512M models involving the seat belt system and on the 355, 360, 456, 550, 575, and the Enzo models involving the OBD2 electrical system. No further information listed except to call the dealer and these upgrades will be preformed at no cost.
The OBDII is not a recall, but a service campaign and is not urgent. Service Campaign No. 148, OBD-II Connector applies to all Ferrari vehicles produced between 1996 and 2004 calendar year for the North America market. Immediately contact any Authorized Ferrari Dealer with your VIN in order to arrange an appointment for your vehicle. This upgrade procedure is at no cost to you. It is a correction of the ground in your SD2 connector which can lead to false readings and improper diagnosis. If scheduled properly, could be done while you wait and would take less than 1 hour.
