....Oh, that *AAANNDD* the annual street festival called the Taste of Little Itay! I just realized that is also this weekend on College St! They basically block the street from Ossington to Bathurst. Bands on every corner, good food, tonnes of culture and all types of eye candy ;)! All KINDS of action! Hopefully they will have an Italian car display as they did a couple of years ago.

I advise anyone looking for a good time to come down this weekend.

    Cheers,

    V..

    Easy there Vasco.

Free Penalty shots may not happen again for Portugaul in the next round...lol!

I thought Iran planned a pretty good game, too bad one or two of those opportunities didnt follow through............when i saw the ball pass infront of the goal line, i was on the floor saying no way !!! Good game to watch.

Brother it was won fair and square. Both teams played great. It was an awesome game to watch.

Sorry Italy didnt come through. And that elbow was just NOT right. However, I was hoping Italy would win.
(Italy Win = More tail at on College St. - Not that there wasnt enough)

That Brasil game totally pissed me off. That was so retarded. It's enough having the ref call out every nitpicking pinky being touched on the Btasil players, and add to that the horrible luck of the Australians in several goal opportunites. I mean come on man, once you miss the net entirely as Dida screws up, 2nd time it's over the cross bar from a kick in.... and look what happens on the other side, the fools get a lucky touch off the post for a second goal. Get real. Some people just can't catch any breaks.

The Brasilians got a few yellow cards as well...........it was a German referee after all...............and he still holds a grudge I'd imagine............LOL !!!

FIFA should have used a referee from another country is a situation like that. I'd be like having a Brasilian referee at a German/whoever match......regardless of what happens, it leaves open the door for suspicion.

I though the Aussie's should have received more penalties....with all the shirt grabbing going on and the guy deliberately kicking Ronaldo's knee..........their player's must double in Aussie Rules Football during the off season.

LOL!!! That's just too damn funny. But there were some questionable calls in that game. SOme calls that were actually unecessary being awarded to the Brazilians. Whatever, Croatia will be taken out, so it's all good

Robinho, Ronaldo and Cafu received yellow cards.......for what ?

The Aussie players got two, but still had 25 faults........so why did Brasil get so many yellow cards to their top players from a German referee, yet only 4 faults ?

    That was my point. Anyways.....2x0......

Just finished watching Korea tie France 1x1.............gotta love it..............they haven't won a world cup game saince 1998 !!!!

Today was pretty much his last game for France since he'll miss the next game, it's a shame for a player of his skill to go out that way, but it was his own fault
