It looks like you guys had a blast today I have to make the next one. I met a really nice couple with an azzuro california 360 Spider from Long Island and they said they would love to come out on a run sometime. I will also invite them to Fchat.
hey guys. I just got back from the office. Here are the few pics I took. I got alot of good video. Im gonna have some interns work on the videos. Ill put some music and stuff to it and post it. If any of you have any photos (the full res ones), let me know. Ill include them in the video. If we have enough runs, ill make us some DVDs of the 2006 season FChat says my pics are too big, go here to see them: http://www.shivamparikh.com/fchat/Run6_18/ I have the high res photos if you want them. Sorry about the crappy webpage and crappy yellow faces
damn son... those are excellent. The Jdogg action snaps are absolutely buttery! Exif says you are using a Sony S600... is that correct?
Holy ****...I missed out on some serious scenery and roads. Second half (whatever i missed) of the run looks amazing. Can't wait to do it again (Without a hangover passenger that will be throwing up ) ANd thanks for waiting up guys.
Hovik, Arrwin, and Shivam- awesome pics. Shivam- the S4 sounds sick...never expected that from a 4 door. Jdogg- looking forward to hit that route again...in full. Good seeing you all again. Here are a few more pics...[the yellow vette was my company on the way home] Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
SHivam, I like your edition of photoshop I have a few awesome video shots (not digitalized) from past runs for you to include.
feel free to email it to me, or let me know where I can download it. I can put together an awesome NYTS DVD of all our events if you guys want. Yeah the S4 is my baby. Most people dont realize how nice Audis are, they are so under appreciated. Also when I tell people there is a V8 in my car, no one believes me until I open the hood. In the next weeks, im getting the new braking system installed, gutting the suspension, installing sway bars, and fixing my clutch. Also getting all the body work done on my car. We should do a "shivam's car is fixed" run when I return from all my traveling.
Sorry didnt realize in my above post, they were not digitized. What format do you have them on? Also where is the most important pic...the pic of the hot cop thats the one we are all waiting for.
so sorry I missed this. Entertained the family at my crib for Father's Day. Next time I'm definitely in looks like you guys had an awesome time
So after you 4 went the right way (I followed the road to the left), I spun around quick to catch you. I get stuck behind some idiot in beaten up old early 90's camaro that did something to end up backwards on someone's front lawn. Traffic stopped for no reason for about 3 minutes. Then, I hit 9w, its a highway, i get pulled over for doing 61 MPH (on a highway). Officer was a younger guy. No tickets. That was a quick 4 minute stop. Now with all the police we saw and i heard about on Saturday, im paranoid to speed, plus I dont know the roads up there. Right before I hit the GSP, I see a Yellow Lamborghini about 1/4 mile up. I finally catch him, thinking its Vik-- Turns out to be a Murci and he ducks off the Nanuet exit, so i dont even get to ride with him. Once I hit the GSP and I know whats what, I got home by about 12:35. Im totally in the dog house and im out for any run this Sunday. Im grounded. 2nd - Jdogg-- That was the best drive Ive ever had in my Ferrari. Youre a great leader and you know some great spots. Thank you! Eric, You would have been in your glory. 3rd- I got some great shots. I have to find the time to resize and post them. Not enough hours in the day. 4th - Id ride shotgun with Nip. How bad could it be??
lol, we saw the camaro. It was kinda funny though, because he spun out BEFORE the turn. I was actually confused as to how he did that also.
That's kinda funny...b/c we were just saying that some people should be able to get a "Performance License". Obviously, this guy would be out of the running. Wow...I am STILL thinking about the run! Those roads were so sweet! Can't wait until we do it again.
Im with Arrwin. I cant get the visual of Vik dropping COMPLETELY out of sight like a roller coaster ride on two of those hills in the 2nd phase of JDoggs mountains. And I was only about 2 lengths behind him. That was amazing. What was with the chubby guy with the spun out camaro? When i went by, a cop was there and this dude was walking back and forth across the street with younger kids, no less. Then he saw my car and started making weird gestures, like for me to wheelie it (??????) and was saying something. I had Megadeth on the cd player so i couldnt hear what was coming out of his mouth. I did see his Summer Teeth though. That made me laugh!
JC.... You are too funny dude. Hahaha. But yes...those hills definitely caught me by surprise....literally looked like the car in front dropped off the face of the earth. I'm still surprised my front spoiler didn't scrape on some of those declines. Wow...I didn't know F-cars can pop wheelies. You gotta show me next time John. Hahahaha.
Ive been told im funny. But looks arent everything! Im surprised I didnt get any spoiler scrapes either. ZERO. Was a great day. What else can we say? I think the camaro guy was chewing an apple through a picket fence with those choppers. I know, again, Im going to hell!
Hahaha, exactely what I needed on monday. I def got a slight bit of air on that one hill, but no damage (plus my front bumper is being replaced anyways, so I was like screw it). We def need to do that run again.
The 308 was infront of us when we got to those inclines.. All of a sudden.. the 308 was GONE! and we were like 2 cars length.. it was better than any rollercoster.. simply amazing.
Hey guys...looks like you all waited for me longer than I thought. Just wanted to reiterate that my passenger was not feeling well, so it was not a good idea for me to find you guys and continue. I was in and out of phone serivce, and hope I contacted John/Jawad in time to give the green light for you guys to continue without me...without an excruciating long wait. During the first call, the lady cop was approaching me and so I could not talk much. My apologies and I appreciate the wait; Fchatters are one of a kind
