Guys/gals, we're just 10 days away from the beginning of our annual assault on Montreal. The local govt has just recovered from our last trip...in time for this year.

I need RSVPs for a few events ASAP!

Friday Night-Party at Med Grill on St Laurent. This is one of the hottest clubs in MTL and will prove to be a night to be missed. We'll get started at around 10-10:30pm.

Saturday-Karting at (http://www.kart-o-mania.ca/) A Montreal tradition since 1998... This year, we'll follow a single elim format with over 75 mins of seat time. We'll also have our usual private party room with a catered dinner. This will commence at 6:30pm.

Sunday Night-Dinner at Jardin Nelson in the Old Port. This is a fantastic restaurant in the historic old section of Montreal.

    http://www.google.com/maps?hl=en&lr=&q=jardin+nelson&near=Montr%C3%A9al,+QC,+Canada&radius=0.0&latlng=45512363,-73675627,1415890081842503918&sa=X&oi=local&ct=result&cd=1

    Dinnertime is 6:30pm!

Please RSVP immdiately for any or all of these events!

    lashdeep at yahoo.com

    Thank you!!

    LS

No real meeting place other than the Bud Tent! :) Feel free to stop by anytime or give me a ring. A call at the hotel would be best actually (www.hoteldufort.com), as I sometimes have service probs with my cellphone up there.

I decided to not plan anything on Thurs this year as we always have trouble making a happy hour on time when we're driving up.

Join us for one of the other events!

Does anyone know the specifics of the festival on Peel Street? Before last year, each time we showed up we drove the Ferraris of the caravan onto Peel St and were treated like celebrities. It was really a neat experience. Last year, we got in a bit earlier and were turned away. I actually snuck in anyway by convincing the guy that had explicit instructions to turn "intruders" away that we did belong. Then a fellow came out yelling at me and the poor guy I convinced saying "People paid $300 for these parking spots!!" Apparently they had a club get-together thing or something at the restaurant there -- I don't know.

Anyone know what is up with all that? I would like to park on Peel, but not for $30 much less $300!

Matt, Friday will be a club party only. Saturday's karting will incude dinner and Sunday's Jardin Nelson arrangement is a dinner also.

I don't have any clue about the Peel Street Festival. I'll try posting something on the Canada area.

MDShore348 has a deal on handheld radios for the drive up if anyone is interested. Please contact him.

They're almost a requirement for a caravan and very convenient to have around.

Jeff, I hope you guys are still there when we arrive to Med on Friday night. I think we met some of you at ER Bradleys at the Cav Classic happy hour. It would be great to meet up again.

CarreraGT, got your email and you are added to my RSVP list. We'll be at Jardin Nelson at 6:30pm, see you there!

Jeff and CarreraGT, please feel free to join us for karting on Saturday also.

Negatory. It's a dude. I don't think he's serious about coming, but I gave my word that I'd ask. You know how it is.

I heard. Thanks for the pictures. Well, I fly home late Wednesday night. I should not have to do any work-related travel for a few months, leaving me plenty of time to party, ah, I mean rest up. Bought a new house in October and I swear I've not been in it for more than a couple of weeks at a time. I'm looking forward to settling in. Still I'm very EXCITED about the drive up to Montreal on Thursday morning!

    Did you see this:

"MONTREAL, June 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Peel Street, between de Maisonneuve and
Ste-Catherine, will be closed to traffic between 5:30 p.m. and midnight, from
Thursday, June 22nd to Sunday, June 25th (the closure is from 9am on Sunday),
to accommodate more than 240 sports and luxury cars, including Ferraris,

Those Lamborthinis are rare units. I hope to see one...
