Anyone know how long you can leave the top down without damage? One dealer told me only 24 hours yet it takes almost that time to snap on the boot cover. I live in Orlando and love driving al fresco. Anyone know the answer?

I leave my top down the entire summer in Jersey and only put it up when I go for rides in the winter...never a problem in 2 years

Is it true that Goodyear made tires for the 355 Fiorano that were gatorback design and specifically named Fiorano on the sidewall?

I am looking for a Blk/Tan 355 Fioriano. I got a message yesterday pointing me to the hours of 355 chat for the last 3 yrs and found yours regarding #21.
Do you or anyone else know where I can find the blk/tan # 21 or is there another Blk/Tan out there?

Did anyone happen to scan their 355 Fiorano factory sales supplement or the story in Forza June 2000, Issue 23?

#8 of 100 is for sale at Enigma Motors Dublin, CA. www.enigmamotors.com

    It's red/tan, F1, and has 21,920+ miles

    VIN ZFFXR48A6X0116243

Original owner from Texas with two subsequent California owners.

Not bad condition. Diriver seat bolster shows a bit of wear and the OEM driver's carpet is a little worn and dirty. Dash shows no signs of shrinkage, but I am not expert in that analysis.

They are asking $110K, but I think that's certainly too much for that mileage.

Claim that the 30K was done at 20,000 miles and that they have the documentation.

    So now you know.

What happened to that registry that was being kept?

How could then be a claimed 104 if the dash plaques assert a total number of 100?

I believe these tires were made exclusively for the F50. (Fiorano)

I am trying to update the 355 Fiorano Spyder database. I have built a spreadsheet of all the series numbers that I have been able to cull from the FChat board and other sources.
The raw numbers are; 46 cars accounted for, and 12 of those appear to be manual gearboxes.
I have entered top colors where I could, often based on looking at the photos posted on various sites.
The most important missing information is the VIN number. Without the VIN number, I cannot determine if the car is a duplicate of one already listed.
I know there are some errors, but I cannot fix them without help from others. For example, No.# 42 and 45 appear to be duplicate cars, but which one is correct? The same is true for No.# 69 and 79.
Any additions or corrections that you would like to send, I will gratefully accept. I will continue to post changes and updates as I receive them.
A note of thanks is due “stokpro” as he started this thread which gave me the idea to refine the database.

Here's the info I found about a year ago on the Fiorano series.

"Fifty of the 100 Fiorano Edition Ferraris were imported into the United States. Out of that 50, only 9 are 6 speeds. Out of that 9, only one is black on black."

So, your number of 12 6-speeds may not be accurate but I can't be sure of that fact.

The #8 of 100 I had posted above by Enigma Motors was sold this week to a 328 owner in Pleasanton, CA.

I'm going to miss seeing it on the way to & from work everyday. But hope to run into it since it's staying local.

I can update your database on #36:

    VIN # is 116560
Mileage is now a whopping 7700!

The rest of your information is correct.

As of today it was still in the dealership window.

Maybe the sale did not go through!

If I had bought it it would have been gone in minutes!

Here is my list, which may help a little. I haven't compared it with yours and nor have I got round to updating for some little while.

I don't believe that information is correct. The Fiorano was supposed to be a US only edition with all 100 cars going to the USA and Canada. In fact, four more were made, three going to Italy and a single right-hand drive car to South Africa, but I believe the 100 numbered editions all went to North America.
