OK, I guess we should pencil in the plan for Friday night. Keeping it close to the show and having something for everyone, Nicky Blaine's looks good. Nicky Blaine's 20 N. will be in on saturday. would like to get together at the track or after. will there be any ferraris hanging out on sat? where? any body have any links for fca or foc gatherings on sat or sun?
Not concrete, but Saturday night gathering at the Slippery Noodle. As for the Ferraris there is a corral somewhere at the track. Anyone know exactly where?
That map is a little deceiving.. It's just a hair north of that red star and almost on the circle. A really good place to park (normal cars) is on Washington street between Pennsylvania & Meridian. There are 2 decent size parking lots there. Depending on events, price ranges from $3-$10. The shrimp, chicken rolls, and meat plate are pretty good also.
I'll be driving up there Friday with a couple of the other Ft Worth / Dallas Fchatters. (9 to 12 hrs) I'm not sure what time we'll get into town but we'll try to meet up with everyone.
Agreed that it is a great event and we're planning on attending it, but that website is a joke. No information whatsoever. No times, nothing. Or am I looking in the wrong spot? Rob, count us (2) in for Nicky Blaine's. Good pick.
Saturday night SpeedTV party at Jillian's, by invitation only. If you are on SpeedTV's e-mailing list, you should have received your invitation.
^is there a way to fake those tickets? Not so much when he hands it to you and says "Find _____ part." The whole thing's in Italian too!
Daniel, if it says Ferrari on it, you will find lots of takers, I'm sure! I also liked the hat you gave out at VIR! Jim
I RSVP'd. I haven't heard back yet to find out if I actually get to go. I recieved the invitation last year also. Did not get in!
I will be driving through Indy on my way to Detroit on Sunday morning (likely) and was wondering where all the Ferrari's will be.
I just tried again. About what time did you respond? And when did you get your confirmation? I responded sometime around 11:00 pm the day the email was sent to me.
I believe I viewed the e-mail early in the AM the day it arrived, and responded right away. I received the confirmation e-mail that same evening.
can someone give me some tips on what to bring to the race. besides ear plugs camera, and binoculars? never been. can you bring in "professional" camera equipment. i know some sporting venues frown on huge lenses.
