Well i think so anyway. The 612 is too long and looks weird, and i never liked the look of the 430, looks like a 360 with some body kits, yet the edges on the new parts doesn't quite gel well with the rounded parts carried over from the 360.
Drove my neighbors new Murci roadster past weekend. Whoa...The Rake of the windshield truly makes the cars fwd visibility non functional.... Compared to a range rover of course! Image Unavailable, Please Login
599 for me. Lambos just look overly flashy to me. I know that both Ferraris and Lamborghinis draw excessive attention, but the Lamborghini draws too much for me. Combine that with exotic color combinations and they appeal too much to ricers. Lambo...mean, male-esque lines. Ferrari...sleak, smooth feminine lines. What I look for in a car is smooth feminine lines. Apples and Oranges to me, that's all.
I just read in Octane Magazine an article on the 599GTB, and they say that Ferrari Spa, thinks about the 599 not as a replacement for the 575 but as the replacement of the F40.
What a total embarassment you are to everyone, Rakjoe. Your tasteless and cruel humor is a disgrace. Steve
Had a look a both cars last night 599 is better looking in real life than in the pictures but the 640 is fantastic Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does it matter to you that there is no relevance to the production cars other than name?? Probably not. I haven't looked at the into 599 what is msrp and what are they selling for? TIA
Yeah, You keep telling yourself that! The answer is right under your gas pedal! That's why you don't know!
The only Murcielago I would own would be the Barchetta. I just love that thing, and I don't know why. Not a fan of the coupes, though. Definitely take a CGT over either of them, but that's in a different league .
That's awesome. I've been reading much of the same. Ferrari isn't even mentioning the 575 as the performance benchmark to beat--it's F40 this, F40 that. I think it's great the way they continue to challenge themselves. When the world would be completely satisfied with a car that merely replaces the 575, they go and build one that redefines the boundaries (if they even exist anymore) of what a GT is by comparing it to their own legend. In ten years, the 575 will be an "oh yeah, I remember that one" Ferrari, while the 599 will be a landmark in every category it redefined. I really, really want to see one in the carbon, though. Love the flying buttresses.
