See, I thought you would appreciate, you just thought I had gone bonkers. As a medical professional I asked Jennie if she wanted to come study anatomy with me, she declined but told me to have a good time.

Finally had a good result for Montreal, but it would have been even better if I'd been credited with Sato as the final finisher. F1 Tipping shows Montiero, but Formula1.com, billed as the "official formula one website", shows Sato. Why the discrepancy? Gary
Seems to be some difference: F1 Tipping only counts cars actually running at the finish, whereas official F1 rules classify anyone who has completed 90% (?) of the race distance as a finisher, whether they retired or not. I've noticed this discrepancy before: F1 Tipping applies their rules consistently, so they clearly have a rule and stick to it.... Sorry you lost out this race. Oh, and I seem to have overtaken SPEEDCORE for the league lead...you'll pardon me if I give a little WOOHOO!
...just by 3 points but congrats anyway. I'm now ranked 35th overall in the league. wOOt!! Btw Good ol' Dave, I just got the FChat cap! A big Texas thanks & I'm going to take it with me to the USGP.
Instead of a T-shirt this week, I've decided to celebrate the addition of some scale model cars at www.FchatStuff.com by offering this Mattel Hot Wheels 1/24 scale F2005 Ferrari Formula One car. It looks great, and it will be the prize for finishing 1st in this week's F1Tipping league. Here's a link to the models, and a shot of the F2005 that I'm giving away. CONGRATS Scot. Dubai Vol is this week's winner. Next up?? Don't forget to see all the cool new stuff at www.fchatstuff.com. With new lower prices, and reduced shipping costs!!! DM
Well, then you'll just have to win the German GP. Only appropriate that you could win a case of batteries from BWS550. You know that won't happen. Dave
Ok, am I allowed to be officially ticked off? I picked Monteiro to finish last, which he obligingly did, and then he gets DISQUALIFIED? I would cry if I weren't laughing so hard! How crazy is it to get DISQUALIFIED from LAST PLACE!?!?!? Just kill me now!
Could be worse. You could have also had 14 as the number of cars that finish the race. We'll see what F1tipping does with this. They've done some odd stuff before, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the leave the race results alone, without the DQ. DM
Oh, I expect he'll be excluded; I think that would be the correct call. I know what you mean about the odd results. They only count actual finishers, not cars that ran enough laps to be "classified," for instance. So all day I get to wonder how many points I got.... Something to occupy me while I'm sitting in traffic!
WINNER THIS WEEK: jmillard308 claim your prize from www.fchatstuff.com AND ALL YOU OTHERS, STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT WINNER!!!! DAVE M
Well that was interesting to say the least, results for the Hungarian GP are up. The only thing that I find strange is F1 tipping posts 11 finishers where the official F1 site shows 13. BTW, Crongats to a local for taking the win.
It's been an issue i other races as well. F1 Tipping counts actual finishers, whereas the FIA classifies any car that completes 90% of the race distance. So Shumacher and Trulli are "classified" in the official results, but they were not running at the finish. It's a fine hair to split, but F1 Tipping consistently applies the rule that a finisher is a car running at the finish, not a car that has completed enough laps to be classified. I wonder how they would count a car that is running at the finish but hasn't completed enough laps to be classified? So far I haven't seen that situation come up....
