Ferrari Enzo's in Canada

when i went to the autoshow this year back in february, the guy said that there are 7 enzos in ontario and 3 in the montreal area that he knows about, he also said that there is only 1 of those maserati m12 things that look like an enzo...and by the years end there might be another 3....i dont remember the guys name, but he was working for the ferrari people..hope that helps....

I was curious as to how are Enzo's registered in Canada, given that they were not specifically designed for the Canadian market (i.e. Canadian DOT regulations, etc)? Am I mistaken in that Enzo's are Canadian legal? And if so, then why are they excluded from importation according to the Registrar of Imported vehicles? Thanks in advance!

Its easy. Yes, they are legal and why wouldnt they? Although the Canadian market is small we do have 3 Ferrari dealers. Surprise we have about 7 or 8 Enzo's in Ontario alone and another handfull between the East and West of us. And they are all legal.

 

This has always been on my mind and probably on many people's mind here in the Canadian section. Where the hell are all our Canadian Enzos?!

We already know of the usual suspects such as L.S's, L.L (x2?), A.DG's, Zahir's, G.L's etc. But that is just a few of the hand full we have received. From what we have gathered there was approx. 8-10 that came out of FoO, a couple out of FoQ. How about FoV? Where the hell did the yellow Enzo from FoO go? Are all of the FoO Enzo's still in Ontario?

None came out of Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver...

Could it be because Ferrari had no franchise (temporarily) here in Vancouver during the time period that Enzo's were being delivered?

 

There's a yellow one in Alberta.

Quebec has between 2 and 3.
1.L.S. with a red enzo
2.G.L. with a red enzo
3. Dont know who owns the 3rd, but i've been told there is a 3rd red one here

Yes, from what you have said about him in the past it sure seems like he's a good man. He does have "sick" cars. Does he still have the yellow 550 Barchetta? I know he once had a *REAL* Daytona Spider and some serious vintage vette's too

 

i think cody still has the 550, he's had everything he had TWO original shelby cobra's WITH the window stickers still on them, he had a white on white testarossa spider(i know) gullwing's, everything he used to have a unit next to his where he kept everything, he also won the world offshore powerboat racing championship in 2002, he was the throttle guy.

 

In the Alberta megathread, someone was mentioning that they were looking into buying a black Enzo.

 

L.L does have 2, the one Cody drives goes back and forth from LA to TO on a regular basis.

Also, I know there's at least 1 Enzo in Vancouver as I met the owner last summer.

 

no he doesn't. the one cody drives IS HIS DAD'S. which lorne shipped there for cody to drive but has since been shipped back.

 

Wasnt the red Enzo that was featured at SEMA a year or 2 ago owned by someone in BC?

the sema car i'm pretty sure was lorne's, i know givanni borrowed it from cody to make wheels for it. i believe the article you're talking about is the one with "a day in the life of cody L" where he buys a phantom at the end? that was a publicity stunt for his record label, L.L shipped the red one there for him to drive(lucky guy). there never was a yellow one here that was his.

Red. I don't know the guy personally, he just pulled up next to me and was asking about the 360 I was driving so we pulled over to an empty parking lot (down by kits beach) and showed each other our cars. He wouldn't take a straight exchange though...LOL
