    I totally agree, this whole tournament is a joke and so is FIFA as now they're not even going to punish Figo..like WTF?????

    That was a terrible way to end that game. It was an awesome match, 30 more minutes would have been great. But that's not how it went... Even people that were not AUS/ITA fans wanted that game to go on. That was a dissapointing way to finish what was and could have been a spectacular game.

    *sigh*

    What's done is done.. I knew watching the WC would be a joke. Guess I was right :).

    any speculation on what the Portugal - England game will be? I'm betting England will kick some ass (sorry Vasco!), but it will be a hell of a game either way.

    I'm looking forward to the England game, it should be interesting. All I have to do now is find some way to watch it as my stupid sister has gone and booked her wedding for the same time...lol

    F430QC, same thing is happening with my British friend, a wedding on that day. Hah. Get someone to text you updated every 5 or 10 minutes :p

    All in all, I expect England to wipe Portugal clean (Vasco, don't ban me for this!). After all those reds, I suspect it's gonna be a tough one for Portugal to even think about prying away from Englands hands. Having said that, England has been playing a very poor game thus far, but still I expect this one to sway into their favor.

    Ya it's going to be tuff but at least I have a portable XM radio so hopefully I'll be able to get reception in the church...lol...My dad is pretty much SOL as he's got the whole walking the bride down the isle duties...LOL

    10 on the field, they should have played better with a man up the entire back end of the game. Nothing for the Aussies to be proud of. I think the red card was too harsh, the penatly shot was too harsh. All in all, im seeing the games being judged too hard. The Portugal game was also too harsh, they did not deserve all the reds either. Regardless, some nice games coming up in the next 2 weeks, should make for an interesting view.

    Sorry Vasco for not replying earlier...........I've been travelling and just got back to the office today.

    Damn..........we played great yesterday !!! I can't wait for the game with France on Saturday. That will be one of the most emotion charged matchs of the cup I think. I also hope you guys beat England as well............

    Yesterday I wore my Brasilian jersey when I flew back from Omaha to Calgary.......and actually watched the game in the airport bar in Omaha.......kinda interesting........lots of people recognized what I was wearing and would come up and talk to me, both in Omaha and Denver.......

    France gone and Portgual gone next round.

    As for the france game i think that will be a bore...brasil will clean house with them. The eng/pot game, now that should be some good value....i think that will be the best game to date to watch.
