Mike, could you help me get the photos on line for the guys on F Chat to see?

I have a few skills but computers are not one of them.

I have photos of the Yellow 997 Turbo as well, side by side with the 430.

Thanks Mike and everyone for sharing the passion of Ferrari!!!....

    :)

P.S. My only criticism of the car is it needs to be lowered.

    thats a bad-ass 430.

    the red stitching is clutch.

the turbo looks very good in yellow, i was not sure how good she'd look after seeing initial pics in silver. i thought the fogs would look too "bulbious". looks perfect though.

    enjoy the 430

    Mike, congrats! Couple of questions..

Now that you have the 430 have you even driven the Turbo?? ;) If so any first impressions or comparisons?

Secondly, are you going to keep the 355 and are you still able to enjoy it for what it is, or are you too jaded with the 430 now?

Thanks a lot! To answer your points....

The 997 Turbo is fast and it feels absolutely planted to the road. However, as repeated again and again, the Turbo is a great car but antiseptic in comparison. Antiseptic is good if you are staying in a hospital, it's not so good if you crave a wild, visceral, raw driving experience.

As far as the 355, it is still as stunning as ever. I'll never be jaded when it comes to Ferraris! :)

Tony, thanks so much. I almost purchased a C.S. The 430 was an unexpected surprise.

I am an average driver of limited driving prowess. And upon reflection, I think the 430 is a better car for an average driver. The steering, the power, the sound, etc. is just...."wow"! And I also love the interior of the 430. In short, I can't get enough of this car!!

I like the exterior of the C.S. a little more. The stance of a C.S. is formidable, unlike any other. However, when I lower the 430, it will enhance its look significantly.

Mike, congradulations to you once again. I also love the stance of a C.S. but the 430 Coupe in Black with those wheels and interior are incredible. One thing, are you going to keep the 430 when you get the Spider? Also when you get the Spider are you getting F1 or 6 Speed Manual?

Congratulatios! Enjoy your car. The dealership of my city once had a F430 black on black and it look gorgeous. You are a lucky person on having that opportunity. I love the car.

And also I think I saw that F430 in the street and the engine just sounded amazing. I think it was the same Black/Black because they had sold two, one Black/Ivory and the other one Black/Black and they are just identical from the outside.

Tony, I hope I can keep the Coupe when I get the Spider. If I can keep it, I think I will go with the F1. That's a really tough choice, but a nice choice too! :)

Mike I absolutely loved your story. I got nervous just reading your
anticipation getting to the dealer. As I comptimplate my switch or not
(04 GT3 to CS or 430) stories like yours get etched in my mind.
Congrats and I would like to see more pics of your black beauty AND
your new 997 TT!! I saw a video of a 997 TT flat leaving a Gallardo in
europe. More comparisons would be cool. A TT is abit soft and fat for me
but still Like to hear the stories.

    Congrats again!!!!
