Your paint looks great to me as if it has been professionally detailed. What polish etc do you use? I use Meguiars pre-Pep No 9, then Showcar Glaze No 7, then pure carnauba wax.
Thanks mate. I didnt polish it this time, was just a quick wash. I use Auto-Glim polish. Simple as that man. You seem to really get into with the pre-pep 9, glaze and then the wax. And im sure your 348 has a briliant shine also. Im pretty basic with mine. I tried a new tyre shine spray yesterday but. The Meguiars Xtreme brand i think its called. $16 a tin! Well worth it but, the tyres look like shiny licorice.
Have you tried licking the tyres - it might taste like licorice !!! I often use good old black boot polish on my tyres, then buff off. It gives a more natural sheen than the licorice look.
Boot polish? Sound good mate, but a little too much elbow grease for my liking. Im a spray tin man myself. Hence the basic 'easy' polishing method i use on the 348. And it works great. If you ever want a change, give it a try.

This is the same one after the front bumper was replaced. I rode in it and had a lot of fun. We even got a little sideways in it which was real fun. Definitely not a kit car. Oh.....dont worry mate, ill be watching. Ill be the 1st guy to tell you too. No new pics of your Spyder? Im going for a drive today in mine, so ill probably take some pics. Will be new pics, not the ones I posted 2 weeks ago. Every drive calls for new pics, in new locations.
Yeah, I bet you will tell me about it! No new pics. She's dirty. I haven't washed her since May 12th (I remember these things). We've got the Porsche 250 race here in Alabama at the end of this month, so I'll have her cleaned up for that. Last year I had a bunch of random people opening up the car on their own when I wasn't around, having their pictures made, etc. Kinda cool if you don't freak out about it, really. I've got good insurance and a great attitude, so I try not to care too much. People just get sucked in to the car. I can understand it. And I owe at least one kid there a drive. I need some more trinkets to give away (Ferrari badges, little hotwheels cars) for the kids. The car draws a crowd. I had as many or more people around my old 348 Spider than did the yellow 550 Spider next to me. Life is good.
Life is good alright. You havent washed your Spyder in 2 months?? You slack ass! Get in there and wash it and drive it. How is your little baby girl going? Im taking a friends little boy for a drive on Friday, he has a medical problem and he loves my car, so I happily obliged to do it for him. It going to be a suprise for him too. (But....I may not be able to do it yet. I found out I have a course I have to do for work. I found out after I agreed to take him for a drive.) I hope I dont let him down, but the course doesnt happen everyday and the company is paying for it. So im very sure I have to go.
