Matt I did read your post and also viewed the joke picture you did of him.

Nowhere in this post states that Ronaldo is your favourite player and that you don't agree with the "bad stuff said" about him.

Anyways, it's all good. It doesnt bother me and he is not even my favourite. Besides, at the end of the day its all fun and games

    Cheers,

    V..

"I do not agree with everything being said about Ronaldo" Pretty sure everything being said about Ronaldo is bad at the moment...And which is the joke picture of him? I put pictures of him crying to show the people who think he doesn't give a damn about United that he actually does and he cries when they lose.

Congrats to Italians, and sorry for German's loss. :(

Wow man, that's just terrible for the host country.

My prediction: France vs Italy, and France will win.

Yeah, maybe, but the last minute scores are not gonna work in all games.

Not all of our games have been won by last-minute scores. In fact we haven't given up a single goal during this whole world cup, except that own-goal against USA.

to give my 2cents, i believe that italy do not deserve to continue in the world cup, as the game against australia was not honerably won, although it is not italy i blame, it was australia that were the better team on the day, their skills proved that on the football field

Sounds like sour grapes to me m8 ..... if you read the rule book .... i suggest you do in this case. It clearly states when a player has control of the ball and in the goal area when a full body tackle infront of the ball is done it warrants a plenty kick. If you look at the footage, the player indeed threw his entire body on the ground infront of the ball. Based on you're comments of who should be there or not, then I would say the USA should win the world cup because they displayed the most amount of heart in the whole tournament.
Im so glad i started this thread.

PS .... Ryan whats wrong with hairy women ? As long as its all shaved its all good !! lol !!

Australia played well but the Aussies also had a man advantage for a substantial portion of the game; a good team capitalizes on their opponent's mistakes and as Australia didn't capitalize on this it was their downfall, as well as the penalty...

A perfect example of this was yesterday's game. As soon as Germany moved up to try for the equalizer, it took Italy less than 2 minutes to exploit this defensive mistake and score their second goal.

Apparently the German newspapers were taking cheap shots at Italy-today they should be praising Italy's defense seeing as how Germany had all of 2 shots on goal in approximately 125 minutes of play.....

As i predicted ......... its in my signature.

France and Italy in the final, should be an interesting match, good luck to both.

Should be a nail biter .......... im just glad Brasil got blasted early.

France beating Portugual, kinda saw that happening, they went too far as it was in this tournament. But they did well, its good to see them and other new countries upfront for a change. Maybe next time around we can get another country upfront for some excitment, like Iran, Ukrain, or USA. It does make for great viewing.

Good luck to both teams on sunday.

SCREW THAT!!!! I want Italy to make France bend over!!!!! ...like the cheese-eating-surrender-monkeys that they are.

So France won huh? Aww geez...now I have to deal with all those partisans parading around town with their ugly Citroens.

How about we carry our own flags ....... can you say that like the Italians and the French and the English ?

All joking aside, my favourite player was and still is Maradonna. This man was by far the best player to ever play the game. Regardless of his personal life, and the incident in the 86 world cup (when they won on his 1st goal) the man scored some of the best goals around. If there was a time I would carry a flag other than italy, it would have been for Argentina when he was playing.

    GAWD.....what a quandry........I could never cheer for France......ever......!!

But having to even consider for a moment supporting Italy, as they are opposing France, has me wanting to projectile vomit.

Guess I'll watch "Teletubbies" on Sunday instead. Seriously.
