I lost a little interest when Australia bowed out from the cup. But lost ALL interest when my favourite team Brazil was outted. :( But have still been watching the games (when i can) and i think France is doing well, so thats my guess. :)

France is gonna win ... their damn defense is too tight. There again, they can't score a goal, so this may go to penalties ... and Barthez sucks, so Italy may win as well. I'd still rather see France winning ... Italian players fall down too easily!

Going in I was really going for England, but as always they find a way to mess it all up...

Then I thought Germany would have a great chance being at home and playing so well, and yeah...

My girlfriend loves Italy, and they are sure a tough team to score on, but France really looks like they are ready to take the cup back from Brazil.

I have to say in the first group games that France looked terrible, and I didn't think they'd make it out. But every game they have been improving their game.

Easy way to look at it, France shut down Brazil and walked away with a win. I think Brazil is a better team than Italy, esp. in terms of offense.

I think it'll be 1-0 France, or 0-0 with PKs going to France. It'll be a long game. :)

I think Barthez's antics will finally catch up to him, as they nearly did against Portugal. I think Italy will win, although sentimentally it would be nice if Zidane could retire off of a World Cup win.

Nah, personally i think Barthez will score an overhead vollie into the top left corner to win! ;)
