Race calendar is normally finalized by mid December. But that hasn't stopped Bernie/FIA to drop a scheduled event later on (e.g. Spa this year).
That proposed Vegas track looks great! Right next door to Mandalay Bay would be a great spot for a track. The GP needs to be in a city with International Appeal, for International tourists to come visit for it... there is nothing to do in Indy that touches Vegas entertainment. Vegas is perfect for large crowds of tourists. Besides the casinos could afford to build a top quality track there easy, a street course would be pointless and in the way. Then leave it open year round, that would be a great sport for race/driving schools also. Why is Vegas not even on this poll?? I thought they were the top contender. Those other tracks are better tracks, but are too far out of the way for such a big event and couldn't support all the people.
If the question is what circuit I would like to see the race on, that's one question, but if the question is which circuit could support the crowd AND be a halfway decent facility, that's an entirely different question. I will vote as to the former.
I've driven the new Miller Motorsports park, and think it would make a great venue...especially for me as I'm only 30 min away...
Miller Motorsports Park in Salt Lake City http://www.millermotorsportspark.com/index.cfm 4.5 mile state of the art track. Located in the middle of the country. Lots of accomodations etc.
