Anyone here a movie fan? I was watching the original (circa 1974) movie on Speed the other day and noticed that there is a white Lamborghini Miura shown in the storage building where all of the cars are. I did a search on the internet and found that it is a 1967 Miura, owned by "Tayco" (see here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071571/trivia).

Anyone have any idea what the VIN number for that car is? Anyone know who/what Tayco might have been (circa 1974 when the movie was made). I do not know if Tayco was a company or an individual. Anyone know or have any clues? Any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to track down the history of a Miura from 1978 to 1969.

    Thanks.
    Alberto

Great movie...have seem it many times!

You might want to contact Gary Bobileff of Bobileff Motorcar Company in San Diego. Gary rebuilds and restores several Miuras each year, and is one of the principal judges in Monterey each year. He is the best with both Ferraris and Lambos.
