While not a Ron Davis, I have been very happy with a custom made alum radiator I had made.

There have been many debates here about of alum vs. brass, from which cools better, corrosion to possible electrolisis of using differnet metals from stock...etc.

All I know is that I have not had one problem since switching to alum 5 years ago.

I have been debating this in my head too long and watching all these threads..recoring my stock rad or going to aftermarket alum... I am now of the mind to go alum...figuring either one will help the cooling situation and at least with the alum I will have the added benefit of losing some weight and not having to do the job over again should the recore leak or not provide cooling..it might be a waste of a lot of money though but I have not heard any alum user regrets. and it may save me from doing the rad job over again

$900 for Ron Davis and also Nick Forza's

Use Fchat sponsor Nick Forza's alu radiator and it was a basic drop and go affair. Nick's has been excellent for street driving and VERY hard track use. Temps have been about 10C lower on average than the stock PLUS using new alu you need to worry about the usual stock seam leak and lose a few lbs on the front end.

i say go for whichever you feel the most comfortable. Nick's definitely works, Ron's seems to also offer fan option (for added $$).

Your call. Both are probably better than stock IMHO. Photos of Nick's on my car below.
