and it was just like a Sunday drive. The down force on these vacuums on wheels is incredible. Straight as an arrow smooth as silk. God I love this car.

It is amazing how much more planted it feels over the 360. They really got it right with this one.

I did 167 or so in the 360 on I-5 in San Diego at about a quarter till midnight driving down to the airport. The road was empty and I was just buzzing down the left lane. The traction was great.

I am not certain that I understand the reference to the 360 and speed. I routinely do about 145 on the straight at Summit Point, with no mods (except slotted rotors) to my 360 F1 spider and have complete confidence in the car. In fact, I was concerned that the handling would not be as good as my 996 twin turbo cab, but so far, no complaints at all.

Now I need to find a track with a longer straight.

I was very fortunate that day. It was a four-lane highway and there was no one in either lane for almost 1.5 miles. Very atypical for this area. It is amazing how fast you come up on people at those speeds one second and the next you are reading license plates expiration stickers.

Great! Is it the first time you have got to those speeds? Now you will do it again in the future right?

Is that all?! :) I want to know what it feels like at 180.

I've been 160 in a Stradale. Seemed pretty smooth to me.

Awesome to hear man..! Roads in Mexico are generally terrible. Atleast in Chapala and Jalisco.

I did a speedo-indicated 326-327 kmh (approx 202 mph if i'm right) -- hard to read exact since there's no digital display -- two weeks ago on the autobahn. The car felt very good, very planted, even at the front axle.

I forgot how many times I did over 150 in my 550s (with a high if 191) but they was always the same...smooth and solid at speed.

What is your exit speed outa that last corner at Summit? Does the car pull really hard up to 145? I would think you would have to have a lot of speed to reach 145 by the end.. Also, when do you brake? ;)

I am not certain of my speed entering or exiting turn 10; I focus on the rpms and line. The 360 pulls in every gear and if I have exited 10 fast enough I am into 6th gear, before braking, pretty late. I think that one of the reasons I had to switch to slotted rotors was my late braking into 1 and 5 - lot of wear on brakes. 145 is really the top that I reach, typically between 140 and 145, again depending on entrance speed and how late I brake.
