Now what exactly would you know about peak weekday Bris traffic? ......and tell them you think Sydney and Melbourne are a lot better than up here......we don't want any more!!!!!!

As for driving in Sydney, well, I just don't . You have to pick the right time to drive. Also, last Sunday is last day of school holidays (it was bad), and everyone is coming back from hols. It's not always like that.

I was up in Brisbane last Thursday, caught up with Moretti, and well, you guys drive like madmen, and I guess it's due to not having any traffic in Brisbane during the day.

 

vroomgt always drives like that, I never speed and obey every law that was written.

In Qld they have a saying that we only learn one road rule to pass our test and then must ignore it as much as possible for the rest of our life, Horse and Ausdino being the exception to the rule ... .they ignore all the road rules

 

haha @ sydney traffic, its diabolical.....

road system resembles a bowl of spaghetti dropped from 20 feet in the air

melb does have its busy times, and there are some freeway sections best avoided during peak hr but all in all navigating melb is easy, and its easy to get back on track should you take a wrong turn, even on a FWY

 

just got stuck in a traffic jam in mowamba place Thredbo, some dipsh!t decided to park on a icey hill and forgot to think once it got out of the car it would start to slide, and slide it did, ever see someone trying to get into a locked moving car in an uncontrollable slide.......i'm on dial up so will post pics soon.

 

for some reason that sounded funny,anyway i leave for work at 5.30am before the traffic and get home at 3.00pm sometimes,so i usally miss the traffic,and the m2 in the afternoon is a joke!

ive got a few funny stories from ski resort carparks

one of which involved a 'foreign tourist' family fitting chains to the REAR wheels of their magna.....haha

The best time to drive in Sydney is about 3am. Usually only find taxi's on the road. Every other time it's busy.

Tho if they really wanted to fix the problem all they have to do is make alot of Sydney's artery roads Clearway's 24/7 and that would fix alot of the problem.

Oh course the RTA planners are idiots, even in this day and age, they still only make new roads only 2lanes(new M7 for example)!!!!! If all the freeways/motorways in Sydney were 3lanes from start to finish not for 500m alot of them are The problems would disappear..

very early 90s was good for getting to talk directly with the F1 engineers in the newsgroups and getting an insight into the goings on in the F1 teams, however I never remember Ferrari participating
