does any one know more about this Trevor guy? Someone said that a man talking to the police at the scene looked like a man who worked at westcoast customs, called Trevor! Coincidence? The black Enzo and the SLR both had custom wheels on?

    Little nugget.

The Posession of the guns is really a baddy here. As a non Citizen in the country on a Visa you are not permitted to own possess or even use a gun unless you are visiting for the expressed Hunting exemption that has to be the reason for your visit. If your visa is obtained under false pretenses then you are in even more patootie. If you have a Green Card you can obtain a gun legally just like a citizen but....

INS ICE and ATF are not the folks to get on the wrong side of... They might just decide to review your file then you are stuck in the system for EVER

It DOES exist, but I don't think we will ever have the pleasure of viewing it.

I saw on CNN last night that he entered a not guilty plea yesterday......

on what charge? Steffie had a few up in the air. If it's just the dui/crash/gun charge, he'll walk with a fine. It's LA county, the correctional system is so over loaded , they won't put him away for that. As for the other stuff, who knows. He has enough $$$ that i'm sure a good attorney is already on it.

may i ask why enzos tend to dissipate in the same place every time they have a wreck, ya know like the engine along with the entire rear of the car just rips off, was this mean to occur in the mix of a wreck, or is it just a coincidental thing that happens??

I've noticed that too, and wondered if it was a concious design decision. If you notice in all the wrecks the cabin survives entirely intact. You could get back in the car and sit down. It's quite amazing really.

Think about it, you wreck a car going 160+, and walk away unscratched.

I believe there has been at least one fatal Enzo crash. The Malibu accident would have also undoubtedly been fatal had the car impacted the telephone pole in the door area, rather than further back. There is no certainty of survival in a 160+ mph accident, even in a racecar with much more safety equipment and controlled track conditions.

    Limeade,

It isn't the end of the world, and amazingly, the car is repairable. However, the story is very interesting to those following it; so go piss on someone elses parade.

Sentences can be excessively draconian here, it's true. Heck, we even have the cojones to light someone up that really deserves it once in a while (and after taxpayers have paid millions of dollars for the judicial system to work at its glacial pace). BUT, the system in the UK (and I would assume the rest of 'yerp) is much worse, where NO deterrent of any substance exists at all. What's the record now for TWOC-ing in the UK ? 20, 30, 40 offences before prison ? The irony is, of course, that our punishments, as severe as they are, have very little deterrent effect anyway -- we kill each other to the tune of around 8,000 per year ....

Got to love those three post. Posting a quick little blurb is easy to understand, however a huuuuuuuge thread about what happened that goes over all the details like a dam conspiracy theorist is a tad over the top. Kennedy didn't get **** guys, a guy crashed a car.
