I'm looking at a blue-blue 360 and I want to know how much to add or subtract for color. I know red and yellow cars go for a premiun. On a blue car how much would you subtract from the price of the car.

Why would you deduct $ because it's blue?

Which blue? Pozzi with dark blue int?

Are you calculating value on what other's say or what's attractive to you?

I'd subtract for red, because there are so many if them

I like blue. I have one, and I have been offered ridiculous amounts of $ for it!

Forget what others say about color. Buy the color that adds to your Ferrari experience (both visual and the driving). I've been to several car shows especially Cavalinno (sp) and have not seen but a couple older colors that I did not like. The modern colors are simply awsome!

I know someone who paid about $10,000 less for a F355 because it was Blu LeMans. IMO it should be worth $10,000 more than a red one.

I think while what everyone else has said is true (buy what you want) it doesn't directly answer your question. One way to frame is: assuming that when you decide to sell your car you have to sell it in one month, accepting the best offer that comes along--how does color effect that? I have a data point from a dealer who suggests the following:

Red is the easiest to sell, but to a slightly lesser extent silver, then black and yellow, bring about the same money. Somewhat down the list is blue. Then all the other colors follow (the off reds, green, white, etc.).

In real world terms, it translated like this:

Assuming (all other things being equal) a red 360 was 150K, a good blue (say TDF) would bring 145K, whereas something like a Barchetta Red would bring 140K. There is almost no bottom for bizarre combinations of interiors.

First, realize that this is one dealer's opinion and experience. And others are correct in that a less common color CAN command a premium, it is just that the buyer pool is much smaller. So the question in this case is can you wait for that buyer to find your car.

360's will most likely never be a collectable. With that said buy what you like and feel comfortable paying for it. They all are still a 360 F-car!!!!!!!!!

very nice color combo. my feeling is that if a buyer comes to see my car, then they like the color. if they really didn't like the color, they wouldn't be there trying to haggle on the price. so, if you're there, i think you like the color and i won't discount for it.
