There was a thread a while ago with JJ who lost his front wheel bearing and had a hard time finding a new one. By chance I glanced at an exploded diagram of the Mondial and the TR front ends. They use the excact same style of wheel bearing. Other Ferraris might too. Ferrari is lazy. Did they use the same set-up and bearing in other cars so that while numbers on the bearing may have changed they are really all the same?

Yes, it would appear at a glance that 112799 would fit 208/328/348*/F40/412/Mondial/Testarossa. *The page I have has this no. for the 348 up to assy no. 8798. Price £200GB.

Not really lazy using the same bearing - it makes good sense.

The 512TR/M bearing looks more like a C4 Corvette type hub. As does the late (assy no 8799->) 348. Part 142882.
