Doing well. I recently teamed with the guys at RUF Auto Centre here in Dallas to help them build their Pre-Owned sales dept. Alot of their clients are Ferrari and Lamborghini owners and they obviously want to keep as much business "in house" as possible which is where I come in.

We are buying and selling the cream of the crop cars and are also helping our clients locate any type of vehicle they have an interest in.

It appears you ended up with a Coupe after all? Are you enjoying it? note to self (stupid question)

What color is the coupe?(TDF, Nart, or Pozzi)

    Hope all is well.

    JP

$1375.00 and the car would be delivered THIS weekend to your door. I know where Len's place is. My office is no more than a rock throw from him.

It is hard for me to compete with the larger companies because they can spread the cost over more units, but we speed things up a bit on the flip side.

Many will tell you that I am an enthusiast above all and will treat it with kid gloves for it's journey to California.

Let me know at your convenience.

Congrats BTW on the Ferrari!!! I'm jealous. Still saving for my F355 !!!

    I disagree.

$325 for peace of mind from a fellow enthusiast here on fchat is money well spent.

I don't think I can compete with that being that fuel costs are over $3 a gallon in California and I am in the business to make a profit, not just cover my costs. I would like to make a little money on it. It is about 1400 miles from Dallas to LA and each spot needs to bring as close to $1/mile as possible to make a profit.

We load the car once, and unload it once and use every precaution possible to make sure your car gets delivered untouched and unharmed.

At the end of the day it is a difference of $325 to have your car delivered by an enthusiast with a good reputation for delivering on our promises.

I will load the car Friday afternoon and be on the way for weekend delivery to your door.

Enjoy the car regardless of who you use to deliver it!!

    Forza Ferrari !!!

I have seen on several occasions where people chince to save a few bucks and the car arrives damaged, missing stuff or way late. Getting your baby delivered with zero mishaps is the top priority, FWIW. This guy sounds like a good option :)

    Blackgallardo,

If the peace of mind Jonathan will add to your experience is not worth the $325.00, then I think you are making a mistake! Grab it and get your car here this W/E!

    Jonathan,

    It's Azzuro California.

Glad to hear you made a good move. I hope the job's not too "Ruff"!

    Greg,

Everything is going great! We are also ramping up a division to store exotic and specialty vehicles for our clients in our attached warehouse next door.

    blackgallardo,

I need to make arrangements to fill the spot if you do not have an interest. It is on hold for you at the moment..........

I'm in the same situation. Buying a car in NJ and driving it back to Florida that night. 15 hrs but it saves me $1000 and I have my car right away. I tried to use "exotic car transport" but they ignore you for a week then call you the eve before. I got tired of waiting for them to tell me when they could get the car.

Here's a tip, if you want to deal direct with independant transporters you can register at centraldispatch.com if you have a business in a somewhat related industry that needs auto transport, post your request direct this is what the brokers do.Keep in mind you are dealing direct with an independant so make sure he has insurance vs the broker such as passport whos insurance covers the carriers as well.

Sounds pretty normal. I think I paid $2200 to ship my 360 from DC to CA (enclosed, via passport). Keep in mind, the delay is generally picking up the car, not getting it to you. In my case, it took them 8 or 10 days to get to the dealership, but once they had the car, the driver got from DC to CA in less than a week! I believe I had the car in 4 or 5 days.. it arrived about a week sooner than I was expecting.

    Always use enclosed, btw.

    Ray
