I am a 25yr old Male in So. Cal with an unfortunate 6 points on my record.

How could you possibly have 6 points and still be driving?

4 points in CA and you loose your license!

Just call few insurance companies and ask for quotes. You will get the most accurate quotes than getting ones from this board. There are too many variables, and what people telling you might not apply to you, Being 25yrs and having 6 pts will not help BTW. Good luck,

I think we should all enter our guesses and see what the final amount is. I'm thinking $5k a year.

Depends on where he lives, my guess is ~$10K/yr with a typical coverage and reasonable deductibles.

My insurance dropped about 40% when I moved from L.A. County to Ventura County. I'm giving him the Ventura County discount. :D

I think with 6pts on the driving record, none of the major insurance companies are going to insure him. So he will be at the mercy of the other high price carriers, I would guess $10k per year.

Either sell the car or garage it for 3 years (I think it is 3 years) until your record is clean. If not, you are in trouble bigtime on this! (on 2nd thought, you could move to timbucktu....cheap rates there)

with 6 points on your record, you have no business with a ferrari frankly... or any other car. And that's coming from someone who had a lot of points on his record when I was your age.. and was arrested for trying to out run the police. My advice would be to learn to drive more like an adult and less like a kid... and maybe realize the road isn't a race track...

Best prices on insurance I have found are via Costco

I can't imagine getting insurance on a 360 with 6 points. Good luck. $10K seems like a bargain.
