Another one I like: Grilled Cheese (Tillamook X-Sharp) 9 Grain Bread Put Tomato Slices in between the cheese You can also add some black forest ham in there Cut into strips Open a can of Tomato soup (mix with milk) and dip the strips in the heated soup...
You are too young for that Damn, that looks good. I could live on that...for the short time until it kills me.
Thats nothing. My friend flew first class on British Airways this summer, apparently on their planes and in their lounges you can get a sandwich that all it is is Bacon on a bun. Ill see if I can dig up the picture..it looked so good.
Believe me, there are far nicer things than a bacon roll. They use to give them in the lounges however have now returned to being stingy and do not.
I'm quite upset that I share the same china as the Wellington Chateau. I was promised that I was getting unique pieces when I placed my order for place settings earlier this month.
For lunch: Grilled cheese - wheat bread with plastic processed american cheese, with Marmite one one slice (yes I really do eat this stuff). Back in the day, usually early Sunday mornings on a hot night when you need something salty: Bright white Wonder bread, Jalapeno cheese dip, the kind that comes in the peel top cat food cans, and Bar-B-Q flavored Fritos. Good stuff. That reminds me, I haven't had a Frito Pie in a long while...
Today's lunch was a grilled cheese sandwich with slice of tomato and onion along with a bag of "Sun Chips",...french onion flavor. A large Dr. Pepper to wash it all down. It would have been a Mexican lunch, but the restaurant closes down early when they run low on food after the noon time lunch hour rush.
I just read this thread and now I am so god **** hungry I might eat my own hand. And I've got an hour left before I can leave work. Thanks guys.
Watch it, old-timer. Got the stuff on the way home yesterday and made it after the wife and kids went to bed - with an Oban. Substituted the sourdough with ciabatta already in the house. Great, great 'sammy'.
Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches are where it's at. Family tradition when we go camping....we make them in hugh batches and eat them while setting up. The key is extra crispy bacon....and lot of BEER!
Put a few Salsa Doritos (or regular) on almost any sandwich you make and it will only get better. Don't laugh until you've tried it...
two of my favorites: thin sliced warm turkey breast topped with coleslaw (no mayo used) and melted swiss on grilled rye with light russian dressing and chicken salad topped with sauteed onions, bacon, nance's mustard and a little lettuce on seeded rye
