It means the shirt requires an $800 special cleaning process every 3 days or the seams fall apart. ;)

"More than you can afford pal... FERARRI" :D:D:D

I have a similar funny story... not a Ferrari one but it's funny just the same ;) I drive an 03 Mustang Cobra convertible... and one leisurely Sunday evening I see a friend in town that has an 04 Cobra coupe. I stop and talk to him for a little bit... and while we're standing there chatting these two teenagers in a four door Saturn (complete with fartcannon exhaust tip) slowly pull up in the parking lot and look... go up a little ways and turn around stopping as they come back by. They look at us and talking towards me they say "man those sure are some nice cars... really beautiful." I say thank you to them and tell them I've put a lot of hard work into it. The guy in the passenger seat looks at me again and says the one comment I hate with a passion, but yet hear it a lot...

"That thing gotta FIVE OH in it right?"

I look at them with a very serious look on my face and say "nah man... all aluminum 427 in it."

"Really? Wow... I bet it'll move on out."

"It does alright I guess for what it is" ;)

The leave out and tell us to have a good evening... they took the bait hook, line and sinker :D Some people are just too dumb for their own good I believe.

Sometimes the forum gives some people an illusion of familiarity that really isn't there. I receive regular unsolicited PM's from Fchat members asking relatively direct questions as if we already have some relationship and they are continuing a conversation, but where the question is usually something inane like " did you do/make/add (fill in the blank) on your (pick a car) yet?".
It's interesting that the web emboldens people to act in ways they would never do face to face when they are strangers to each other.

I really enjoy Fchat and have many postings, but I would never PM anyone unless there was a specific and overt reason to do so that arose in the course of a thread, or I had established some direct connection to that person previously.

well the common ones for me are

    1.Is that a rental?
    2. Did you pay for that with your own money?
    3. Spin you tires!!! (more like a request not a question)
    4. I bet you pay a fortune to maintain it!

1 and 2 get pretty old after the 100th time......lol

Q: "Do you like it ?"

A: "Not at all, but I've committed some very bad sins, and the Pope is making me drive this around for my pennance."

The top "dumb question" these days has to be:

"Do you know why I pulled you over?" ;)

(Judging from traffic around here, they don't enforce any other traffic laws.)

Friends occasionally ask me what the "SLOW DOWN" idiot light on the dash means. I used to say, "Well, it means to slow down." :D

But that didn't seem up to the karma of the car somehow. So now I say, "The tires all have special Ferrari sensors in them. At speeds over 180mph the rubber is in danger of melting or breaking loose from the wheels. The sensors detect either threshold and activate the warning light."

You would be surprised at how many enquirers buy this. :D
