Too many people ask too many questions on things they should be very quiet about. This is the toronto spotters thread...........if you havent sited a spot then create a new thread. As for the Regina thread.........i could have deleted it, but merged it out west. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, i will begin to delete threads that are useless.
F430 in Red, Red Viper RT/10 and a Maser on the other side of the highway...Saw some filming going on as well!
Spotted a Delorean this morning southbound Sunnidale Road at Wellington Street just before 9am. It was all rusty and stuff. Just kidding. But I did spot the car! Chris
I spotted two Testarossas a few days back, a giallo idling in a driveway and a nero leaving an esso, both simply stunning and in the leslie /york mills area. then two red Viper RT/10 in the Yorkville area, one new and one old. That Yellow Testarossa is forever burned into my brain
FYI, RT/10 is the old Viper, and SRT-10 is the new one. Those are the convertibles. And GTS is the old Coupe, SRT-10 Coupe is the new one. Any pics of Testarossas?
Hi was down below Barrie yesterday, spotted lots of really nice Porsches (is that an oxymoron?); what I mean is crazy body kits like Anziano-like cars, Strosek/Gemballa, etc. Wasn't expecting a P-car to look so good so camera wasn't ready. Only got 2 pics but not worth posting here. Also, REALLY wasn't ready, and the headlights don't warn you a cool car is coming but like the zenons on an exotic, but I didn't realize it until it had passed us, but a Nissan Skyline GTR! I was speechless. It was in the Richmond Hill area but sorry can't remember the road. Well what good is a guy with a camera ready for exotics and misses them? Well, we are travelling north on the 400 just before the Major Mac exit in 5pm rushhour (it was 5:45pm) and traffic is stop and go (surprise, surprise). We are stopped for about 5-10 seconds when suddenly BANG! from behind. Stunned, we get out of the car (we had my wife's grandmas red VW New Beetle and the lady gets out of her black Civic (an older woman) and says "OH SORRY SORRY I WAS ON MY PHONE AND DIDN'T SEE YOU" Nice going lady, remember that anything said can be used against you ha ha. Then shes like "PAY CASH I PAY YOU CASH". I should have said ok $10,000. I'm not a body shop estimator so I don't want you getting away with shortchanging us and you know being a VW its going to be $$$$. She didn't get out information but I got lots of pics of the cars and her in one of the pics (oh I got my evidence!) and got ALL her information (drivers licence, ownership and insurance) and then she said she was late had to go, jumped in her car, got on her cel phone again and took off! What excitement. Like I said I have lots of pics but will not post here of course since it is undergoing investigation. Any advice here? Oh, and if ANYONE DOESN'T know..........surprise to us. OPP officers gave us **** for going to the police station to file a report. APPARENTLY with OPP you have to call them so they report to the scene to do up the reports and view the accident scene, as it was explained to us, then they have MORE WORK to do if we just come to the police station. So word to the wise for anyone! Chris
Today I spotted a very special Testarossa in a garage. It appeared to be an 86, 87? But get this, 7000 original kilometers, all original car and one local Toronto owner. It was a special order silver car. It was very cool to see. The car looked like a museum piece. I've never seen a silver Testa personally. V..
Enzo Ferrari, **** load of 360s, 430s, Maseratis, a convi Lambo Murchie all at The Wynn. Too bad they weren't spots here but in Vegas.
As we know he has not been on in a while and some of us showed concern including myself so I decided to email him. All is well and hopefully he will join us back soon. He asked me to say hello to "all the guys and gals". Cheers Andrew! V..
In Scarboro? Nah, can't be dude. What I think you saw was a 1991 Toyota Celica complete with the "Testarossa package". Arent you supposed to be at a fundraiser Ian? looks like the weather is holding thus far V..
I have been waiting all summer to see this in the theater. I have not had the desire to see much else on the big screen except for this show. Went last night (Barrie Cineplex) and I tell you it was awesome. The action does not slow up at all, some great opening scenes with the F430 chasing a Bentley Continental GT, and later some new 6series BMWs. The boats were to drool over as well. I expected all the ricer crowd to be about but was rather surprised. In the parking lot was a nice 7 series BMW that I parked beside, and when we left a nice black lowered NSX with some big pipes on the back, tv and stereo upgrades inside, and a full carbon fiber hood (well the front of the car, whatever you call that since the engine is in the rear of the car). Chris
Didn't look or sound like a package but I didn't get too close. Older guy. Parked it & went into a restaurant.
Spotted a Nero 550/575 blast by me this evening on Bloor near Avenue Rd. 360 Spider on the Gardiner as I was (ahem) off to the side of the road. The interesting spot was yesterday in little Italia. It was a black Maser Quattroporte with blacked out windows, a nice set of wheels and a seriously LOUD exhaust. Man I didnt expect that! Possibly Tubi'd. V..
