    Hello Ferrari gurus,

I am planning on purchasing my first Ferrari. I am looking at a 92 348 TS and also the 308s.

My only fear is how expensive the maintenance can be. I foudn good prices for items on www.ricambiamerica.com . Can I get all my ferrari parts here or are there any other sites like this? Are there soem parts that I have to go to the dealer for?

I am thinking of buying the parts here, but would need a good mechanic who can help me get the car fixed if soemthign goes wrong. Are there any shops or garages that knwo what they are doign but not as expensive as Ferrari?

Any one know of any local Farrari mechanics around Pittsburgh PA or even DC.?

Lastly question - What is a fair price for a 92 348 TS with 51K miles for in fair to good shape? It is white in color. It may have an intermttent check engine light comign and going from what i hear. Please advise.

Sorry for all the questions, but after talkign to alocal dealership about repair costs, I am just a bit concerned. I've had several german cars and sports cars like the Viper and NSX and these were all manageable. Hope the Ferrari is too.

Only the check engine thing? Nothing wrong with fans?

Avoid it anyways. I hope you're not looking at that 29k wreck on ebay...

And go to a Ferrari specialist (not a Ferrari franchise, but a specialized garage)for maintenance unless in your friends you have someone dealing with those cars on a daily basis...
