Took the car for its longest drive, 2 hours each way, 95 degrees plus... Worked great, airconditioning was surprisingly strong! Window tint helped too!

Afterwards, noticed a good sized puddle in the driver's footwell. I have seen this occasionally with my other cars, and usually its a plugged condensation drain. I tried to quickly look under the dash, and didn't see an obvious drain tube to blow out.

Am I on the right track here? Where is the drain tube?

    As always, thanks!

You've diagnosed the problem correctly. The hose may be still connected to the evaporator tray, you just need to clean it out. Also, the exit of the drain under the car may be clogged or stuck together. Go there first.

Is the hose visible from the bottom of the car?

Yes but it is not always just a length of hose like your regular garden hose, sometime and I think most times its just looks like a hollow grommit like the pic below, it shouldn't be to hard to find when your car is on a hoist :)

Usally spiders block them so I would use a piece of wire and not your fingers to unblock it :D
