Cheaper to purchase and cheaper to maintain. On the Speed coverage they referenced a part that now costs 41K to replace will be 15K with this car.

Looks good. I know it’s not financially feasible right now, but I really wish champ car was a multi chassis series. Just gonna have to wait a few more years I guess..

    I hope so.

IRL will struggle next year, imo.

    Just check this quote from

"Team co-owner Bobby Rahal was quoted in an Edmonton paper last weekend as saying his team and those of Roger Penske and Chip Ganassi have a "50-50 chance" of returning to Champ Car if the two open-wheel series don't unify.
Rahal also has been discussing the possibility of putting his son, Graham, in a Newman/Haas ride next season in Champ Car."

It's 20.4 PSI and with PTP 22.3PSI. And yes thats 1.2000 miles or 1931km with over that distance the engine should be within 1 to 2% +/- of the 750hp before the rebuilded.

My thoughts exactly. I lament the time when we had several chassis manufacturers racing in the US series (Champcar or IRL). Bringing that down to one or two selected manufacturers was a mistake IMHO.
To keep the cost down, why not impose a price limit.

I have never been in favour of 'one make series'; it doesn't bring novelty and starves new designers of new oportunities to shine.

Interesting. Just like Daytona Prototypes. I wonder why they didn't go with offerings from Brembo or AP.
