Thanks for posting. The car looks stunning. Enjoy it in good health. ps. thanks for posting a clear picture of the long paddles, never noticed the difference before. One learns every day... Regards Jurgen
First off you have one of the most amazing Ferrari's I have ever seen, and by far the most beautiful 612 I have seen. But when I first saw this pic, http://ferrarichat.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=363909&stc=1&d=1154210217 I thought you had some 80's splatter paint job on the secondary paint color. It really freaked me out for a second until I realised it was just the reflection of the flowers. - Chris
You are one of the luckiest guy on the planet. You can drive great car on the beautiful road, what else you would ask for more!! Super-nice color combination! Especially fresh red interior!.....yep speechless indeed! Drive her fast & also in good health! Cheers,
Amazing Car! Congrats on the purchase...I bet its awesome to wake up and open the garage of yours...i bet puts a smile on your face..
P E R F E C T the two tone is nice, but the interior is perfect. utterly beautiful in every way shape and form. congratulations on some fantastic taste -Ben Martin
I don't know about this one. The exterior is simply pathetic imo, as the weird curves should rather be smoothed out by some dark blue color than being emphased by the two tone paint. For the interior it's the same ....Looks cool on pictures, but i would be ashamed being seen in it. So basicaly, it's the fat GF joke, You have fun riding it, but are ashamed being seen with it. That's how i would feel. But anyway, congrats on the purchase, it's a rare car.
WOW!! nice post. You made me feel like I bought an MPV. I didn't buy that car because it's rare. I bought it because I LOVED it. Being rare is just an added bonus. And although I don't need to prove the point of my purchase, I just want to say that I am not ashamed at all driving that 612. The car is 3 days old and I have 600KM on the clock already. And I killed a Murcielago in the looks department too. People were taking pictures of the car as if it was a UFO. But then again, to each his own taste. And that's the beauty of a free world. What I see pathetic in your post is the GF joke and the "Ashamed" theory of yours. You might care what people think, and that's the difference between you and me. I don't give a crap what people think. I buy what I like and hang out with whom I love, regardless of what anybody might think of me or my actions. No offense meant or taken. I am just expressing my opinion just as you did. Cheers.
It was just -as i quoted- a joke. Quite famous indeed. To tell you the truth, there must be another difference than that between us, because i don't give a sh..t either about what other people think or do (except late people, this thing being a typical proof of a disrespectful attitude). What i was simply trying to say was that while i love seeing the interior on your pictures, i could hardly imagine myself sitting in it and being happy. The very last point being that on one hand you mention not caring at all about what other people think about your car, but you can't help mentionning three times how much more attraction (the good one ?) your car got compared to a hair-dresser-lottery-winner-miurcelago. Brilliant Anyway, i wish you lots of fun with the car.
I fully understand your point. But I need to clear something up. When I mentioned how people in the streets liked my car, it was not because I care what they think, it's because I care what people on Fchat think. The opinions of the people who share my passions and hobbies are, for sure, worth knowing. And I was reflecting as much as I can about the car so people (on Fchat) can have the whole image of the experience of driving/owning that 612. And you never know, maybe my posts will be of help to someone who is interested in the car. There are three, out of the nine made, still for sale. And just like what happened with car number 2, someone might buy and ship it to his/her country. You are not the first one who dislikes my 612 or even my 430. And I have NO PROBLEMS at all with that. We all got different tastes. But you are the first one I replied to because your "Ashamed" theory surprised me and nothing else. Take care.
Anyway, again, no hard feelings here ! Your cars ARE great, and are a perfect dream for 99.9 % of the population, and even more important, you like them. I'm sure you will have some great time with them, that's all i do sincerely wish you.
I'm sure the person who would buy you your 550 will put some chrome wheels on them, gougoul. That would be a blast A little bit offtopic, you still think of changing your Fcar?
Haha, well yeah... some ostrich and frog interior, some 26" spinners, side exhausts and 345 rear tires could do the job. For the change, i don't know, the GT3 is still a long time to wait for, and i guess the dep' will be quite steep. Lastly as i should move very soon to an even more central place in GVA, any car will become quite useless, so i'll stick to the 550 for a while. I just can't love another car as much right now.
I usually do not like the 612 and I have never seen a red interior that I liked, but then I saw this. I must say that I am very impressed!!! The exterior makes the 612 look smart and very classic (kind of like that one-off Zagato 575M they did for that Japanese collector). This thing would look great parked out front of a casino in Monaco. That is, when not being driven of course. The interior is flashy, yet not overdone. On paper I would have thought the interior would have come out looking horrible, but it is the complete opposite. Very, very nice. Your car is truly a unique piece of work (well, somewhat unique as there are 8 others out there). Congrats and enough driving it.
My friend, you have superb taste! Bravo to you. Is that a Swiss only interior program or can US clients enjoy the same possibilities?? Forza, Cavallini
The interior is perfect! Don't know if anybody could've spec'd their interior that way, but the end result is absolute perfection.
i agree, i wasn't a fan of the styling until i saw one in person, but, WOW, that is one amazing car you have there!
please don't hate me, but I am reminded of an early corvette when I look at that 2-tone paint. I find the car to be stunning, and I applaude you for choosing the colors you did.
By the way, did anybody notice the alcantara footwell and carpets. I just realized today that the carpets and the whole footwell is full alcantara when I was cleaning it. And I double checked the pictures too. FULL ALCANTARA. I have to admit that it looks awesome. But keeping that thing clean is going to be an ultra difficult challenge.
