I got a coach for christmas ( a year ago). My sister worked there. Never really cared to have an $130 wallet. I got it and thought it was cool. Two weeks later I realized why I never wanted and expensive wallet.....My cousins dog got it. Didn't do a lot of damage, but enough to make me glad I didn't pay for. Still have it. Has a slight tear in it.

I'm a big fan of the rubber band approach for carrying cash.

But for the most part use just a small leather card holder for ID and a debit card. I freaking HATE having stuff in my pockets so a wallet is not gonna happen.

    I love Coach stuff.

I have mmm, lets see here - a coach wallet, money clip, pocket book for my passport and tickets usually used for trips overseas, a check book cover, key fob, numerous belts, 3 pairs of shoes (they"re really comfortable), a PDA cover, even a watch (bought for the h*** of it) and thats off the top of my head.

The stuff wears great and you can get it fixed, restiched, redyed ect for free if you need it. And it's reasonably priced. So what if it's $130 for a wallet? It will last forever and you'll appreciate it every time you pull it out.

Shoes were 329ish, not really sure about the other stuff, best to just check the website.

I like Johnston & Murphy also - forgot to mention them. Good business type shoes and have a few belts. Shoes wear great and you can have them resoled, but I was disappointed in the belts, however, they showed a lot of wear after a short time.

Actually, I spend stupid money on wallets but the fact is: One $600 wallet will look newer and last longer than five $200 wallets.

    The same goes for shoes.

My (ex) Girlfriend gave me a Gucci monogram wallet, and a Tiffany's money clip with our first name initial's engraved. I use the moneyclip more, expect for when I'm with other girls.. :)

True for pretty much anything leather. :) I still try and switch up the wallets because they tend to stretch out and lose shape..pockets get torn up, etc.

so what's everyone's preference? money clip? bifold? trifold?

i havent used a tri-fold since middle school; the annoying curled up bills always bother me.
