    Are you sure its just not "boxed" rather than "boxer"? Meaning still in the box or bag in this case.

    It very well could be. However, one came with my Boxer tool kit in place of the spark plug wrench. I'm just curious what the tool is used for.

    Any idea?

    No, this piece is just slightly bigger than a pencil. It has a "purposefull" end, somewhat like a carb key.

    I don't think it belongs in the Boxer tool kit but was just wondering what I have and what it is for.

    This has nothing to do with a Boxer 512 BB or BBi.
