I am a huge Corvette fan. The last time I have seen some of the cars you photographed was at the Monterey Historics in 1987 when Chevrolet was the featured marque.

    Thanks for the pics.

    Marc,
Sorry, I don't remember the name of the builder. I went to the show with a buddy, and I'll ask him if he got any info.

Nice cars, I just joined NCRS after years of being a Corvette guy. I'm fortunate right now to be doing some side work for a small classic Corvette dealer, it's a good way to have fun with some nice cars.

thanks, my friend cant seem to recall the name either and I would really like to to put an LS7 under a 63 split with all the modern running gear and AC.

Awesome pictures, I love corvettes. Wasn't always so. I actually met my wife at a local corvette show, she loves them. She bought a '71, and they started to grow on me... Now I want my 250 GTE AND a 'vette... lord have mercy :)

    Cheers,
    Joel

Trey: thanks for the nice NCRS Corvette pictures. The silver 1959 Sting Ray looks great after it's 'in house' restoration by GM to! Hard to believe it was once painted red. The Corvette restorers have become so proficient that you can't tell a real one from a fake anymore. The only Corvette models that GM will document were the ones sold new in Canada...

There was a guy at the BRIC that built his own Grand Sport replica that's basically what you describe...started with a scrapped '66 chassis, put on a Grand Sport body kit, put in nice seats, LS2, Vintage Air kit, Tremec 6-speed, very nicely done car. It was for sale at the time. It's the one on the left in this picture.

DMC- thanks for the heads up but I am referring to the company that was present at the San Antonio meet that provides a very modern chassis and running gear that accepts a older corvette body. I am personally looking to have an LS7 with this chassis and cover it with a 63 split window (silver and black) and us this to drive daily as a fun car.

The company I'm looking for was responsible for the red chassis you see in the picture above, and that’s the name I'm looking for
