I have 10k miles on my Michelin Pilot Sports. Does anyone know when the tires should be replaced. The dealership said 7k for the rear and 14k for the front. Does that sound right? Also, what tires are considered the best for a 360? TIA

Is this meant to be "how long should tires last?"
Man, you gotta drive like a madman to wear 'em out that fast! (Been there, done that, but now I've grown up!)

Otherwise, why replace them before they're used up or 6 years old (as recommended by some auto manufacturers)? I know there was just a thread in which several owners said they liked to replace their tires when they were half used up because it makes them feel better, but no reason to replace based on mileage, just tread depth or time!

Okay, let me rephrase. I've checked the little notch in the tread and don't know what it means. hahahaha. Something I should have learned I know. At what tread depth should I replace the tires? TIA
