Summer's "Exotics Run" - August 13th: Aftermath: Pics, Vids, Discussion

Whenever we would be parked or driving slow through the twistes that deep rumble and the screaming that follows when you accelerate would make us stop the conversation and just smile... Great sounding car James. Again, thanks for coming!

Pretty much sums up the whole confusion and the getting lost part...
You can cleary see that the sign says 7 lakes dr to the right and all the cars go left and wind up on 6 WEST.

I love your car as well. Originally wanted one in orange but now I think I like the lime green better. In post 67 the second pictue, thats me standing in the middle of the street taking your picture as you drove by. Car looks great, awesome job. Keep shootin' those flames!!!

 

Would love to connect and hear your beast. Just installed a Tubi on my G that I'm lovin'. Was keen to install straight pipes but held off at the last minute due to concerns about the CEL. I'm sure the combination is unreal. I'm in Manhattan proper, so would be great to hookup when convenient for you.

How many miles on yours? I've got north of 5K on mine.

What other mods?

Big kudos go out to Clyde for hanging with much better handling cars in the fast turns with the 308 at over 100mph! I was right behind watching the 308 pitch and lean, thinking to myself, "WOW, Clyde has baIIs - go Clyde!"

There were a LOT of awesome and beautiful cars, but my favorite car of the day was the Renault Turbo 2 - for you youngsters who don't know what this is, it was one of the meanest and quickest little cars of the early 80s that was never imported into the US:

Green Lambo, the exhaust is sick. you were right next to me and I couldnt even hear my BB Bullets (straight pipes)

Hovik, Congrats on setting a record for the largest Run set-up in the Tri-State area

 

Is there anyone who can complie a master photos DVD or something. Can someone perhaps zip them up or something? I could duplicate them really fast here at the office and we could give them out to people who came to the run. Any ideas?

 

Hovik-thanks for setting up the run. It was nice to meet some NY guys and we had a great time.

We managed to follow a few guys who took us off the route. We were only with a few cars, so we didn't get to run with the big group of cars. It was still fun, nice roads, good weather.

We will have to invite all of you guys for a drive/meet in the philly area one of these days

Does anyone know the photographer in the Black Porsche 911 who was snapping pictures on the highway? I know he took a few of mine according to G-Gore and I'd really like them! ..thanks to whomever you are.

 

I saw the pictures he took of your car. In fact he said his favourite picture of the day was one that he took of your can on the highway with a nice motion blur to it.

It was your car that made me get a Tubi Vik. I was picking up my car from Bergen when yours was done with the install. My car has 1000 miles thanks to the 300 on the run yesterday LoL. I have all tubi cf grills on my car along with wheels, and a full custom stereo system. It is going in to get the calipers and manifolds painted lime green also.
