Who's got the badest computer??!?!?!?

way cool. a trash 80, haven't seen one of those in awhile. I had a PET, man those were the dayz. 6502 rocked. currently sitting an a few iseries, pseries and a z.

 

CRT - better than nothing.

BTW, why is it all of my friends that are Photoshop PROS keep telling me a CRT renders truer color than an LCD/LQD display ?
(and why does that even matter since 'most' folks have LCD/LQD today ?)

To do this for each given pixel there are three sub pixels one for red, green and blue light. When the sub-pixel is off, the filter will block that particular color of light. When the sub-pixel is on, it will open the filter to let a desired amount of light through."

As for the LCD's, check out the NEC 90GX2 and you won't want to go back to CRT. I've got another one on the way..

Why would you want the "badest" computer...wouldn't you rarher have a good one?

Backing up my 400GB and a lot of video and disc images.

 

Mine was serious.

 

1- Sony Vaio laptop, 15" screen, 1 ghz AMD, 256mb ram (got it for FREE) mine.
2- Pentium III 1 ghz Intel 768mb of ram, ATI Rage Fury Pro VC (mine).
3- AMD 2200+ (900 mhz) 512mb ram (for kid #1).
4- AMD 2200+ (900 mhz) 512mb ram (for kid #2).
5- AMD 750 Duron 512mb ram (linux test).
6- Pentium III 600EB 1gb ram (spare)
7- Celeron 333 256mb (IP Masquerading router)
8- Celeron 1.1ghz 768mb ram (my file and print server)

And another one somewhere around here, I guess I have 9, not 7.

I remember buying a 20 MEGAbyte HD mail order for ~$500, from Dell when he was selling stuff from his dorm room. I thought I would never fill it up!
