Are you going to shoot some of the Targa Newfoundland rally?

 

Gorgeous yellow murcielago roadster going north on Hwy 400 @ steeles this morning about 7:45.

 

An interesting day today, with lots of variety.

A pair of Lotuses at various times in the am on the QEW, a black Esprit and a red Elise that had me drooling. A pair of interesting P-cars too. First, a black 997 Turbo that was suprisingly subtle. I like the front LED lights, but those wheels look like a little too Fiero to me. The second P-car spot was a Cayman that booted it as it went past at a light, which gave me a good blast of its great exhaust note. The biggest suprise spot was a gorgeous red Dino in Mississauga, which was also making great noises.

The day rounded out with a yellow 355, black with silver stripes Viper GTS, and a yellow Maser Coupe.

 

Hi everybody

was camping near Minden for the weekend, went into Minden on Saturday.

Spotted this crazy little AMG Benz coupe as I came out of a store on the main street, wanted to snap more pics but then saw the passenger sitting in there so took it easy on the shutterbug.

Then, stop at Kawartha Dairies for some ice cream, yum yum, and just down the highway spotted a black 348 Spider, so stopped in for a couple of pics, quick chat with the guys.

PS AWESOME Shots as usual Lucas. Love the lone boat and its reflection in the water. ART pure ART.

PPS spotted a silver F430 coupe turning onto Bayfield/Hwy 26 this evening around 5:30pm coming out of Midhurst. Camera NOT ready dammit!

Sorry...no pics...but I saw a charcoal gray 360 going down the DVP at about 11:20AM this morning....the guy must have left it in 3rd because he was revving very nicely...could hear him when he was 2 blocks away...front and back!

Then at about 2:40PM, a silver 360...coming up Bay right at Bloor...2 guys with dealer plates.

Oh...and a Maserati Spyder in Yorkville/Hazelton Lanes at about 2:30...parked.

I really should go downtown more....and carry a camera!

That pic was taken saturday around 5:30pm or so on Hwy 121 just outside of Minden at a Shell Gas Station. We had just left Kawartha Dairies and headed towards Norland (Hwy 35).

I said hello as I was taking pics, talked briefly about 348s and 355s, I said if you are ever on FerrariChat that is where I post pics and always block out plates, he said "cute" as they got in the car. I snapped one more and said thanks, and he said 'oh ok' as though they were patiently waiting while I took my pics, but I'm not one to hold people up. Seemed like a nice enough guy.

So yes not totally cottage country as in Muskoka but there are plenty of cottages in the area; I know of a 355 Spider owner with a cottage in Bobcaygeon. Sure is nice to be on a road alone going to the cottage as opposed to sitting in traffic for 4 hours to go to Muskoka. My buddys cottage is in Peterborough and its always quiet on the roads to get there.

Did you get to hear his car? The tubi is magical in that car. Did you know that its a 95 ? only 3 of them landed here in Canada. It only has i think 14k.

 

Yes one thing I always do is turn off my stereo and drool. It did sound awesome. He did tell me it was a 95MY and only 3 in Canada and I said "REALLY" because I was not aware of that fact. Have you talked to him yet about someone taking pictures of his car and the brief conversation?

And by the way it is nice to know that Vasco is your best freind.

Im sure everytime he talks to anyone thats the first thing that comes out of his mouth. He is so proud of that fact. It truly is a great car, ive known that car for the last 10 yrs. I was thinking of buying it this spring, but he wont move on his price.....plus i dont think he really wants to sell it. He never drives the damn thing, Im shocked its even out. Good spot my freind.

Next time if you see him, tell him his neighbor with the red tr said you should have bought a 355 (Its a running joke i have with him)...cheers.

 

Actually, a fake M badged car seems worse. Maybe its because there are so many Benzes out there with AMG badges when they should not.

 

saw a red hot F430 on Harbord st. WB of all places..???? He shot up crawford before I could snap him.. earlier this week

then today saw a later 90's F355 spyder red.. asian gentleman and his son flying up montogomery road.. even that still looks hot !

 

I smoked an orange Gallardo on University Ave today. At Richmond, it was 3 car lengths behind me, but a few blocks later I had put a block between us.







(It might have had something to do with the timing of the lights, but the above is my story and I'm sticking to it )

 

while driving to work in the NSX saw a silver 550 Maranello on Avenue parking along on the street
and that weird color deep red 997 Turbo in Richmond Hill at Bathurst and Rutherford

 

a stunning giallo 575 Maranello waiting at a light today at leslie/york mills. it set my sore eyes ablaze. a few minutes later a rosso corso F430 a block away.

Spotted a Blue Maser QP this afternoon in Barrie downtown on Collier Street by the IGA. I was going in to ***** at the parking control office. I left, find the QP now moving and behind me. Let it follow for a bit, then did the smart thing and moved to the curb, let him pass, driver accelerated to share a beautiful symphony with me, WOW thank YOU. Was also curious why no front plate, thinking a dealer, but hey from my home, Alberta plates. Go figure. I spotted several times last summer a 355 Berlinetta Red in Barrie with AB plates but not this year. Perhaps same person? Often saw the 355 parked in front of Michael and Marions restaurant. Sorry no camera.

Keep your eyes wide open because you will see many more "beasts" around Lisbon, Cascais and Estoril.

Saw the same car westbound on the Gardiner around 8pm. Unbelievable car, my neck is still hurting from seeing it.
