My mistake, it wasn't Sebring. I meant it was when the Porsche RS won. After looking up on that site, it's what I was thinking. 2 Vettes and 2 Astons in LMGT1. 22 cars in total. http://www.imsaracing.net/2006/events/midohio/ALMS_FinalRace.pdf

National, single speed karting. Something like International 125.

Spec Miata is a close second. The drivers aren't as consistent (in regards to talent and skill), but the races around here have nearly 60 cars in them. Try getting around a track with 59 other guys in near indentical (slow) cars.

Autox - driver talent governs who will win at the end of the day. I've seen $100k Porsches get their butts kicked by $500 Geos.

Full details out today in Autoweek. Starting Sept. 3, at Mosport the Lolas will run 95 liter fuel cells as opposed to the 90 liter cell all LMP1 cars now run, meaning the Audi's. Same effect, different method.

Starting at Road America this week the Audis will carry 65 KG more than the rival Dyson cars.

This is why Audi is pissed. Support AMLS as they have and be ripped with random and inconsistent rules.

As far as next year goes, rules announced next month may not be in place next year.

Did they forget what the L stands for in AMLS? Le Mans, hello! Le Mans racing in the modern era has always been like this: Constant rule changes to predetermine who is going and who is not going to win. Just ask Porsche, or Bentley, or Mercedes...
